CLASS 4A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

HERSEY

Carmel 11, Stevenson 6: Madeline Felipez was 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs while Sally Snarski had two RBI and scored once for Carmel (13-20-1). Amy Abel knocked in three runs for the Corsairs.

ZION-BENTON

Zion-Benton 16, St. Viator 0: Winning pitcher Janika May allowed no hits and struck out nine and also went 2-for-3 with a home run at the plate. Shannon Lauret was 3-for-4 with a homer and three runs scored.

CLASS 3A REGIONAL SEMIFINALS

HAMPSHIRE

Crystal Lake Central 13, Marian Central 0: Jackie Kisman finished a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Crystal Lake Central.

MONTINI

Montini 11, Perspectives-Calumter 1: Sara Ross went 2-for-2 and scored once for the host Broncos (15-17).

WHEATON ACADEMY

Wheaton Academy 16, Chicago Academy 1: Winning pitcher Michelle Ridderhoff (2-3) combined with Kim Olson for a no-hitter. Ridderhoff stuck out six over three innings and Olson fanned five in two innings of work. Melissa Snyder went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Kayla Costley also had two RBI for the Warriors.
