Elk Grove 12, Wheeling 0: Winning pitcher Andrea Starr (3-0) allowed just two hits and fanned eight in the win for No. 1 Elk Grove (25-3).
Andrew 7, Lincoln-Way North 3: Katie Christner went 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead Andrew (20-8, 11-1). Brooke Hofer picked up the complete-game win.
Barrington 14, Hoffman Estates 2: Loren Krztsko went 4-for-4 with two homers and eight RBI for Barrington (22-10, 10-4 Mid-Suburban West).
Huntley 3, Crystal Lake South 2: Randi Peterson went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Huntley (13-12, 7-5). WInning pitcher Taylor Larson (11-10) tossed a complete game.
Lane 5, Timothy Christian 3: Nicole Liwanag went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the win for Lane (17-11). Kaleigh Ambrose was the winning pitcher.
Reavis 12, Bloom 0: Winning pitcher Meghan Higgings allowed just one hit and went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Kayla Mangiapane went 2-for-2 with five RBI.
UIC Prep 18, Golder 0: Winning pitcher Carolina Leanos went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI for UIC Prep (12-1). Luz Velez went 4-for-4 with six RBI.
UIC Prep 10, Rauner 0: Mary Olvera went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Luz Velez went 2-for-2 with three RBI.
Warren 21, Lake Forest 1: Lexi Leneau went 4-for-5 with two doubles and five RBI to power Warren. Sara Shanders went 4-for-5 with a double and three runs. Sam Belletini went 3-for-3 with a triple, RBI and three runs. Winning pitcher Jana Wagner 4-for-5 from the plate with two RBI and one run.
