Elk Grove 10-11, Kaneland 0-1: In Game 1, Dani Goranson (19-3) was the winning pitcher and Megan Keegan hit a two-run homer for No 1 Elk Grove (21-3). In Game 2, Andrea Starr (2-0) was the winning pitcher and Katie Keegan belted a two-run homer.

Stagg 6, Lyons 5: Lea LaSota picked up the complete-game win for No. 3 Stagg (22-2). Faith Johnson went 1-for-3 with a homer and RBI. Joey Crocket went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Sandburg 7-5, Bolingbrook 0-0: Lora Olson (7-3) fanned 15 in the complete-game win and allowed no hits for No. 5 Sandburg (17-5, 6-1). From the plate, she went 4-for-4 with a double and three RBI. Jess Perkins went 2-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs. In Game 2, winning pitcher Amanda Barna (3-1) fanned seven in the complete-game win. Perkins went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Kelly Sheridan went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs.

Andrew 3, Zion-Benton 2: Brooke Hofer (9-7) struck out five in the complete-game win for Andrew (16-7).

Barrington 6, Palatine 0: Loren Krzysko went 1-for-2 with a homer and RBI for Barrington (20-9, 8-3 Mid-Suburban West). Jazlenn Skor hit a three-run triple.

Downers South 4-12, Oswego East 3-2: In Game 1, Downers South (20-5) was led by Danielle Trezzo (two-run homer, two runs), Katy LaCivita (2-for-2, double, RBI, run), Aleisha Bozek (2-for-3, double). In Game 2, winning pitcher Bozek went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and one run. LaCivita went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. Marissa Mersch went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI and two runs.

IMSA 3-6, Christian Liberty 0-2: Melissa Perkins was the winning pitcher for IMSA (8-7) in Game 1. Cee Cee Countryman was the winning pitcher in Game 2.

Joliet Catholic 10-9, Fenwick 8-4: Tori Johnson led Joliet Catholic in Game 1 with a homer, double and two RBI. Haley Gerl homered, drove in two runs and scored two. Kayla Zembruski doubled and drove in three runs in Game 2.

Lincoln-Way West 16-2, Glenbard East 11-6: Alex Carr went 3-for-3 with a homer, two doubles, two RBI and four runs in Game 1 for Lincoln-Way West. Erin Miller was the winning pitcher.

Marian Catholic 9-10, Nazareth 1-0: Becca Gray (16-3) struck out 10 in the Game 1 win for Marian Catholic (21-4). Rachel Glenn went 4-for-4 with a triple and four RBI. In Game 2, Glenn was the winning pitcher, Bri Clark went 3-for-4 with a homer and five RBI and Becca Stanton went 1-for-3 with a homer.

Payton 20, Chicago Academy 2: Breanne Durovic went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI for Payton (9-5, 7-2 Blue-North). Killian Madden went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Ana Bouziotis went 3-for-5 with three RBI.

Plainfield Central 7, Glenbard South 6: Karly Jackson went 4-for-5 with two doubles and Carly Trenhaile went 2-for-3 with a grand slam.

Ridgewood 15, Mt. Assis 5: Jill Andrades hit a grand slam for Ridgewood (12-8).

St. Ignatius 7-4, Riverside-Brookfield 3-12: In Game 1, Gena Lenti went 2-for-4 with a triple and two runs. Missy Vela went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Seton 11-17, Bowman 9-4: Camella Johnson (3-0) was the winning pitcher in Game 1 for Seton (11-5). In Game 2, Breanna Wellere was the winning pitcher and Lauren Young went 2-for-2 with two RBI and three runs.

South Elgin 5-4, Rolling Meadows 0-5: Sam Bolin powered South Elgin (15-11) in Game 1, tossing a complete-game win, striking out four and going 3-for-3 from the plate with an RBI.

Trinity 13-12, Leyden 1-1: Winning pitcher Chase Machain (13-2) fanned seven in the Game 1 win for Trinity (21-3). Nicole Evans went 3-for-3 with a homer and three RBI. In Game 2, Brittany Bura picked up the win. Gianna Coduti went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Abby Ramirez went 3-for-3 with a homer, triple and five RBI. Monica Garcia went 2-for-3 with a home run.

York 8, Elmwood Park 6: Tessa Kroll and Alyssa Johnson each homered for York (13-12).
