Fremd 10, Schaumburg 6: Allie Gaeding went 4-for-5 with three runs scored to power the sixth-ranked Vikings (19-2).
Oak Forest 10, Bremen 0: The No. 9 Bengals got a complete game, two-hitter from Colleen Shewood, who struck out 13. Emily Naegele went 3-for-3 with three runs scored in the win.
Downers South 23, Proviso East 0: Jackie Tonoff (4-for-5, five RBI), Aleisha Bozek (3-for-5, four RBI) and Danielle Trezzo (3-for-4, home run, four RBI) all contributed for the Mustangs.
Lake Zurich 12, Wauconda 2: The Bears (15-6) won behind three hits and three RBI from Paige Goldberg.
Leyden 11, Willowbrook 1: Morgan Maize went 2-for-3 with a homer and picked up the win on the mound for the Eagles (17-3). Amanda Moran added a pair of hits and two RBI.
Lemont 10, T.F. South 3: Becka Anderson’s complete-game effort helped give the Indians (17-6) the win.
Lisle 11, Reed-Custer 1: Melanie Early went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles, two runs and three RBI to lead the Lions (19-2). Shelby Kretman smacked a three-run double, while Summer Smitt was 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Longwood 4, Brooks 0: Armani Proctor went the distance for Longwood (7-4), striking out 10.
Marengo 4, Antioch 1: Chloe Montgomery scattered four hits to go along with 11 strikeouts in her complete game effort for Marengo (15-6).
Plainfield South 10, Providence 8: Whitney Lanphier’s home run and five-RBI day helped the Cougars (5-13) to the victory.
South Shore 19, Vocational 4: Angela Thomas’ grand slam was part of her seven-RBI day for South Shore (8-2). Ciera Johnson was the winning pitcher and also hit a home run.
