Andrew 4, Lincoln-Way North 0: Brooke Hofer was 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Shannon Rust was 2-for-4 with two RBI to lead Andrew (13-6).
Brooks 10, Washington 9: Krystal Vazquez (5-1) got the win for Brooks (10-1, 8-1). Hiba Haddad was 2-for-4 and scored two runs. Caralyn Kelley was also 2-for-4, including a triple, and scored two runs.
Cary-Grove 3, Crystal Lake South 0: Lindsay Efflandt (17-1) struck out nine and gave up three hits for No. 7 Cary-Grove (19-1). Lisa Semro went 2-for-3, including a double.
Crystal Lake Cent. 11, Woodstock North 0: Jackie Kisman struck out six and gave up three hits in five innings for Crystal Lake Central (13-4). She was also 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI. Brittany York was 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Sarah McConnell was 2-for-3 and an RBI.
Curie 12, Julian 2: Gabriela Garcia (7-3) had a struck out five, gave up two hits and a run, while pitching a complete game for Curie (12-3, 8-0). Jordan Lara 3-for-4 with a double, two runs and two RBI.
De La Salle 9, Taft 0: Carolyn Roberts pitched a complete game for De La Salle (7-9) with eight strikeouts, giving up two hits.
Downers South 21, Willowbrook 1: Jenny Nichols (9-0) led the way for Downers South (15-5, 5-0) with six strikeouts and a walk, giving up three hits. She was also 4-for-5 with a double, homerun, and three RBI. Marissa Mersch was 4-for-5 with two homers, a double and six RBI. Emma Topps was 2-for-3, with two homers and seven RBI.
Evanston 5, Waukegan 1: Allie Managlia had four strikeouts. Maddie Reiches was 2-for-3 with three RBI. Caroline Duke went 3-for-3, hitting a double and scoring two runs.
Glenbard East 4, Wheaton North 2: Kara Tackla was the winning pitcher while Megan Shannon had two homeruns and four RBI.
Gordon Tech 10, St. Benedict 0: Melanie Claudio (6-3) had 12 strikeouts and five walks, giving up one hit. She was also 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI. Mika Morgan also helped Gordon Tech (9-4, 6-1), going 4-for-4, hitting a homerun.
Grayslake North 9, Graylake Central 3: Kristi Candy pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts, giving up six hits and three runs. She was also 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Huntley 16, Dundee-Crown 5: Taylor Larson (8-7) struck out three, and gave up six hits and one run for Huntley (10-9).Tara Lycos went 4-for-5 with an RBI and three runs, Randi Peterson went 2-for-5 with two RBI, and Kelsey was Hagan 2-for-5 with three RBI.
Lane 2, Resurrection 1: Kaleigh Ambrose led Lane (12-7), pitching a complete game. Maddy Maldonado was 1-for-4 with three walks, scoring the game-winning run. Desiree Velazquez went 2-for-3 and had the game-winning RBI.
Latin 15, Willows 2: Nikki Dizon was 3-for-3 with a triple and two RBI to lead Latin (4-3). Lizzie Marks went 4-for-4 with a homer, double and four RBI.
Lemont 10, Hillcrest 0: Erica Nagel struck out 11, walked one and gave up no hits in five innings for Lemont (14-6). She was also 3-for-4 with an RBI and three runs.
Leyden 4, Morton 3: Morgan Maize threw a complete game for Leyden (15-2) with 12 strikeouts, giving up four hits and zero earned euns. She also had the game-winning RBI.
Lincoln-Way Central 11, Joliet Central 1: Kylie Bennet had a homerun, a triple and four RBI.
Lisle 11, Plano 1: Bekka Houda struck out nine and gave up one hit. Summer Stitt was 4-for-4 with a homerun, three runs and two RBI.
Longwood 21, Morgan Park 14: Armani Proctor threw a complete game with eight strikeouts for Longwood (4-4). She also went 3-for-4 with four RBI, and Chantrell Collier added a double and five RBI.
Luther North 19, Chicago Academy 0: Jessie Sobecki had four strikeouts and gave up no hits in four innings for Luther North (10-0). Kaitlyn Stetson was 4-for-4 with five RBI.
Montini 11, Guerin 5: Montini (7-10) was led by Christina Barrett (2-for-3, triple, homerun) and Gabby Alanis (3-for-3, two RBI).
New Trier 21, Maine South 10: Chelsea Delaney led New Trier (12-6, 7-0) going 4-for-4 with a grand slam, two homeruns, a double and seven RBI.
Northside 4, Young 3: Chamara Moore (10-4) pitched a complete game for Northside (11-5), striking out eight, walking two and giving up four hits.
Orr 21, Farragut 9: Rayshina Wallace was the winning pitcher for Orr (11-1, 8-0). Tatiana Eilers went 3-for-4 with one homerun.
Providence 11, Joliet Catholic 1: Amanda Wilson (8-6) got the win for Providence (11-8-1) and went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Maddie Rosa was also 2-for-3.
Reavis 2, Shepard 0: Caitlyn Balandis had 11 strikeouts, giving up two hits and a walk in a compltee game for Reavis (14-6, 12-2). Sam Saunders went 1-for-2 and had two RBI.
Richards 14, Homewood-Flossmoor 0: Hannah Jenkins (1-for-4, two homers), Kailie Tobin (4-for-4, double, RBI), and Brianna LeBeau (2-for-2, two doubles, four RBI) led the way for No. 8 Richards (18-0).
St. Francis 1, Immaculate Conception 0: Lauren Gorski had the game-winning homer for St. Francis (14-4).
St. Ignatius 5, Queen of Peace 4: St. Ignatius (11-7) was led by Amanda Pisani (3-for-4, two walks) and Michaela Macky (triple).
Stagg 12, Thornwood 0: Stephanie Lorenz had strikeouts and gave up one hit for No. 3 Stagg (18-1). Faith Johnson was 2-for-2 with two runs, two walks and two RBI.
Warren 10, Libertyville 0: Jessica Demski had one strikeout and a walk, and gave up three hits in five innings pitched. Megan Sowa was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs. Marcee Olvera was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run, and Paige Dombrowski went 2-for-3 with a homer, two RBI and two runs.
Waubonsie Valley 5, St. Charles East 4: Jackie Kreiner and Amanda Minahan each homered for Waubonsie Valley (7-14). Erin Hohman supplied the game-winning RBI.
West Chicago 6, Naperville North 5: West Chicago (11-6) was led by pitcher Mary Connolly (9-4, 2-for-4, two RBI), Jenny Goldsmith (2-for-3, two RBI), and Rachel Johnson (2-for-4, two walks).
Wheaton Academy 17, Marian Central 5: Kim Olson went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Wheaton Academy (6-9).
York 3, Glenbard West 1: Tressa Koll (14 strikeouts, three walks, three hits) got the win for York (9-11).
