Downers North 6-12, Addison Trail 1-1: Sam Jeager’s two-run homer lifted No. 2 Downers North (16-1) in Game 1. Dale Ryndak (8-0) earned the win. In Game 2, Kendall Ryndak (8-1) notched the win, supported by home runs from Sarah Anderson and Jenna Butler.

St. Charles North 4, Batavia 2: Amanda Ciran (11-0) picked up the win and went 1-for-2 with a double and RBI at the plate for No. 5 St. Charles North (15-1, 9-0). Annie Korth went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Lincoln-Way East 3, Lincoln-Way Central 2: Carissa Ernat went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI for No. 7 Lincoln-Way East. Jill Reid went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs.

Oak Forest 4, Mother McAuley 0: Emily Norton allowed no hits and recorded 10 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings as the Bengals (16-2) earned a mild upset of No. 8 Mother McAuley. Emily Naegele went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored.

Andrew 30, Thornridge 0: Bobbi Gottschammer went 6-for-6 with a homer, two doubles and six RBI for Andrew (13-5, 6-0). Becca Vahldick went 5-for-6 with two doubles and six RBI.

Crystal Lake Central 3, Woodstock North 2: Brittany York went 2-for-3 with an RBI and one run for Crystal Lake Central (12-4, 6-1 Fox Valley Fox). Taylor Wand went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Curie 19, Simeon 3: Winning pitcher Gabriela Garcia (6-3) struck out five and allowed just one hit. Alyssa Vasquez went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs. Mia Melendez went 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI and three runs.

De La Salle 4-17, Regina 3-5: Carolyn Roberts allowed one hit over two innings to earn the win while Rebecca Gertrude went 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored in Game 1. Kathy Crowley picked up the win in Game 2, giving up seven hits over six innings.

Fenton 10-13, St. Joseph 5-8: Melissa Quintana went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI and Nicole Susmarski finished 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI for the Bison in Game 1. Alyssa Ciepley earned the victory on the mound. Hannah Wassman (3-for-3, four RBI), Susmarski (2-for-3, hree RBI) and Quintana (2-for-4, HR, three RBI) paced Fenton (11-7) in Game 2.

Glenbard West 2, Lane 1: Taylor Langtry (6-0) gave up four hits and fanned seven to remain unbeaten. Jacklyn Tyburk went 1-for-3 and drove in a run for the Hilltoppers.

Glenbard West 12, Niles North 0: Bri Wyatt went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI. Kelly Borneman added three hits, two RBI and scored a run.

Grayslake North 12, Grayslake Central 5: Brianna Leon blasted a grand slam and Kristina Gandy added a homer and two doubles. Nikki Livengood was the winning pitcher.

Hope 20, Northtown 1: Yamara Rodriguez (14-0) threw a two-hitter and struck out nine while also finishing 2-for-2 with a double. Lizzy Alvarez and Cynthia Olivarez both went 2-for-2 with a double.

Huntley 4-19, Rockford Guilford 3-6: Taylor Larson (7-7) tossed a three-hitter and struck out 11 in a complete-game effort in Game 1. Tara Lycos went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. In Game 2, Katheryn Hacuett finished 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs while Randi Peterson went 1-for-2 with two walks and three RBI.

Joliet Catholic 16-7, St. Viator 2-5: In Game 1, Alyssa Ferhrenbacher had a double, two RBI and scored three runs for Joliet Catholic. Tori Johnson had an RBI and four runs. In Game 2, Johnson had a two-run homer and three RBI. Alex Wyss had an RBI and scored once.

Lemont 9-4, York 0-2: Erin Keefe went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI for Lemont (12-6) in Game 1. Erica Hagel also hit a pair of doubles and scored twice for the Indians in the opener.

Leyden 9-7, Evanston 0-1: The Eagles (14-2) swept Evanston as starting pitcher Morgan Maize earned complete game wins in both games. Maise (13-1) allowed four hits and fanned 10 in Game 1 and gave up nine hits and struck out seven in Game 2. Maize also went 3-for-4 with two homers and four RBI in Game 1 and had two RBI in Game 2. April Markowski went 2-for-4 with a double in Game 2.

Lincoln-Way North 15, Crete-Monee 0: Winning pitcher Kirsten Iversen (5-3) struck out five and went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI. Justine McClendon went 2-for-2 with a homer, two RBI and three runs.

Loyola 8, Glenbrook North 5: Sarah Conway went 3-for-4 with a homer and a pair of doubles for the Ramblers (8-11). Pitcher Rebecca Tannehill notched the victory.

Loyola 12, Taft 1: Jamie Kiefer picked up the win for Loyola.

Manteno 3, Lisle 0: Brooke Stulga struck out 12 and Becky Zielinski went 2-for-3, with a double and 2 RBI for Manteno (17-2).

Marian Catholic 9-4, Benet 1-1: Becca Gray (11-3) scattered six hits and struck out two in a complete-game effort for Marian Catholic (15-3). Gray also finished 1-for-3 with two RBI at the plate.

New Trier 10-7, Oak Park-River Forest 0-4: Brigit Ieuter fanned nine in the Game 1 win for New Trier (11-6). Chelsea Delaney went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. In Game 2, Mimi Morris went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI.

Providence 6-7, Carmel 2-3: The Celtics (10-8) swept the doubleheader behind winning pitchers Amanda Wilson (7-6) in Game 1 and Allie Atrick (3-2) in Game 2. Wilson went the distance and fanned nine hitters. Caroline Casper belted a three-run homer in Game 2.

Queen of Peace 4-9, Evergreen Park 3-1: Becca Doyle knocked in the game-winning run and finished 4-for-4 in the opener. Jess Kelly earned the win. In Game 2, pitcher Stephanie Rich notched the victory and hit a three-run home run. Kaylynn Yerkes (3-for-4, RBI), Kelly (2-for-3, RBI) and Doyle (3-for-4) also contributed offensively.

Richards 12, Oak Lawn 1: Hannah Jenkins belted a three-run homer and scored three runs for Richards (17-0, 13-0 South Suburban Red). Kristina Apato went 3-for-4 and scored two runs. Brianna LeBeau, Kailie Tobin and Sam Kusta went 2-for-4 each.

Riverside-Brookfield 5-8, Oswego East 1-0: Junior Kylie O’Connell threw a complete-game allowing five hits and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored at the plate in Game 1. Kelly Ely led the Bulldogs in Game 2 with two hits, two RBI and a run scored. Rachel Denneny allowed three hits and struck out two to win Game 2.

Taft 7, Northside 4, 10 inn.: Taft earned the extra-innings victory as Kyra Vidas finished 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and Carolyn Jedd contributed two hits and two RBI. Kathleen Meersman (4-4) picked up the win.

T.F. South 11, Bremen 1: Megan Frieling struck out seven in the win for T.F. South (9-8, 7-5 South Suburban Blue). Kaitlin Togtman went 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI.

UIC Prep 13-15, Muchin 2-4: Carolina Leanos won the opener for UIC Prep. Mary Olvera went 2-for-4 with three RBI and earned the Game 2 victory.

West Chicago 4, WW South 2: Mary Connolly (8-4) struck out six and drove in two runs in the win for West Chicago (10-6, 3-0 DuPage Valley). Rachel Johnson went 2-for-2 with an RBI and one run.

Yorkville 3, Oswego 1: Lauren Rhodes tossed a one-hitter and tallied eight strikeouts in an impressive complete-game performance.
