Fremd 10, Stevenson 0: Rachel Doering (8-0) allowed one hit and struck out seven for No. 6 Fremd (15-1-1). Michelle Mazur hit a home run, triple and double and drove in six runs to power Vikings’ offense.

St. Charles North 11, Waubonsie Valley 1: Amanda Ciran hit a solo homer for No. 5 St. Charles North (13-1, 7-0 Upstate Eight River). Taylor Russell recorded a two RBI and scored a run for the North Stars.

Mother McAuley 8, De La Salle 2: Ashley Rogers (11-3) notched the win for the No. 8 Mighty Macs (18-4).

Cary-Grove 10, Dundee-Crown 0: Lindsay Efflandt (14-1) scattered five hits and struck out seven in five innings for No. 10 Cary-Grove (16-1). Eleni Polites (3-for-4), Taylor Dunne (2-for-2, three RBI) and Emma Gaulke (2-for-3, triple) fueled the Trojans’ offensively.

Andrew 16, Thornwood 6: Katie Christner (2-for-2, two RBI) and Jessie Tucker (2-for-2, RBI) sparked Andrew (12-5, 5-0 SouthWest Suburban Red) against Thornwood.

Downers South 15, Addison Trail 3: Emma Topps hit a two-run homer as the Mustangs rolled in West Suburban Gold action. Marissa Mersch had three hits and scored three runs while Katy LaCivita tallied two hits, two RBI and two runs.

Glenbard South 11, Timothy Christian 0: Jenny Wittenberg struck out seven while allowing one hit over five innings against Timothy Christian.

Lincoln-Way North 9, T.F. South 2: Kirtsen Iversen (4-3) picked up the win allowing three hits and fanning eight over four innings and also finished 2-for-4 with a double and RBI at the plate. Kelsi Dilger contributed a home run and two RBI for Lincoln-Way North (8-7).

Lincoln-Way West 17, Thornton 0: Morgan Dieringer earned her first win this spring in impressive fashion, giving up one hit and striking out six in three innings. Bri Doyle had three hits and scored two runs.

Manteno 10, Peotone 9: Kassie Kaack had two hits and scored the game-winning run for Manteno (16-2). Kate Ruyle finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Winning pitcher Haley Hatella (9-2) fanned five.

Morgan Park Academy 11, Parker 1: Annie Paslaski struck out nine and walked one to earn the victory for Morgan Park Academy (5-3, 2-1 Independent School League).

Morton 8, Young 2: The Mustangs (7-7) cruised past Young as winning pitcher Heather Mackowiak gave up only four hits and fanned four hitters.

Neuqua Valley 6, West Aurora 2: Jena Boudreau tossed a six-hitter and struck out seven to lead Neuqua Valley (7-2).

New Trier 10, Evanston 0: Anna Elliott paced the Trevians with two hits and two RBI. Brigit Ieuter yieled two hits and had 11 strikeouts for New Trier (8-6, 5-0 Central Suburban South).

Niles West 14, Waukegan 1: Payton Genis (1-0) turned in a complete-game effort with seven strikeouts. Lexi Leftakes went 3-for-3 and drive in two runs while Lauren Papucci contributed three RBI for the Wolves.

Plainfield Central 8, Oswego East 0: Kaleigh Nagle (8-1) threw a complete game three-hitter and also had three hits including a three-run home run.

Reavis 4, Argo 0: Caitlyn Balandis (9-3) dominated the Argonauts giving up one hit and fanning 16. Sarah Saunders knocked in two runs for Reavis (13-6, 11-2 South Suburban Red).

St. Joseph 18, Josephinum 4: Brittany Dobbs and Becky Ruiz each had three hits while driving in four and three RBI, respectively, for the Chargers (11-7). Melissa Quintana nothed the win with seven strikeouts and went 2-for-4 at the plate.

Warren 4, Grant 1: Megan Sowa (3-for-3, three doubles) and Abby Anderson (2-for-2, two RBI) paced Warren (9-6, 3-2 North Suburban Lake). Jessica Demski scattered seven hits and struck out three in a complete-game effort.
