Fremd 5, Mundelein 0: No. 4 Fremd (12-0-1) remained unbeaten behind Rachel Doering (6-0), who allowed two hits in a complete-game effort and fanned six. Janelle Schneider had two hits including a home run.
Amundsen 23, Chicago Academy 9: Abigail Naranjo (4-1) fanned seven while Araceli Flores went 4-for-5 with two triples and five RBI for Amundsen (9-4, 5-1 Blue North).
Brooks 11, Morgan Park 6: Krystal Vazquez (4-1) struck out four and went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI for Brooks (8-1, 6-1 Red South) while Chanel Moton was 2-for-4 with two RBI.
Crystal Lake Central 8, Dundee-Crown 1: Sara McConnell struck out five in a complete-game effort for Crystal Lake Central (6-4, 2-1).
Deerfield 7, Vernon Hills 1: Zoey Fishman threw a complete game, striking out five for Deerfield.
Downers South 8, Naperville Central 2: Marissa Mersch was 3-for-5 with a run scored while Emma Topps was 3-for-4 with a two RBI and a run scored for Downers South (9-4). Katy LaCivita had two RBI and a run as well.
Elmwood Park 13, Timothy Christian 0: Katelyn Jakobsen tossed a no-hitter for Elmwood Park (10-6, 2-0 Metro Suburban). Brittany Fanella was 2-for-4 with a homer, a double and three RBI while Kelly Nickol had two doubles and two RBI.
Evanston 11, Waukegan 6: Allie Nortz was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBI for Evanston. Maddie Reiches added three hits including a doubleand two RBI.
Fenger 14, Corliss 10: Fenger (4-2) captured the win behind Dee Dee Davis, who finished 3-for-4 with a home run.
Glenbard North 9, Schaumburg 1: Glenbard North (8-0) remained unbeaten behind winning pitcher Lilly Fecho (6-0), who alllowed three hits in five innings.
Glenbard West 3, West Aurora 2: Taylor Langtry (4-0) fanned eight for Glenbard West (7-2) while Dayle Comerford had a homer and a double. Emily Rooney drove in the game-winning run.
Hinsdale South 10, Oak Park-River Forest 3: Hinsdale South (6-5) was led by Cecie Portillo, who was 4-for-4 with a three-run homer, two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored.
Kankakee 17, Rich South 0: Brandi Coy allowed two hits and fanned 11 for Kankakee (9-3, 4-0 Southland) and Jenna King hit a pair of homers and drove in five. Kylie Johnson went 2-for-2.
Lockport 4, West Chicago 1: Taylor Weissenhoser (4-0) struck out 10 in the win for Lockport (12-1-1). Melissa Stoch drove in a run also.
Longwood 16, Jones 8: Armani Procter fanned 13 in a complete game for Longwood (3-1-3 Red-South).
Neuqua Valley 9, Streamwood 4: Marisa Donnelly struck out 11 for Neuqua Valley (6-2) while Katie Cruse finished 3-for-5.
New Trier 12, Maine South 2: Winning pitcher Brigit Ieuter struck out five for New Trier (5-6, 2-0 Central Suburban South), while Molly Morrison had a double and three runs scored.
Northside 10, Clemente 0: Chamara Moore (7-3) allowed one hit and struck out 10 for Northside (7-4). M.K. Speth was 3-for-3 with a RBI and two runs scored.
Oak Forest 10, Hillcrest 0: Colleen Sherwood allowed one hit and fanned 11 for Oak Forest (13-2) to claim the win. Calie Delisi drove in a pair of runs and scored twice while Felicia Turk added a RBI and two runs scored.
Orr 12, Uplift 9: Jayonna Shelton was 3-for-3 for Orr (8-1) and Rayshina Wallace struck out three for the win.
Oswego 12, Romeoville 4: Miranda McCain was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI and Jessa Garcia was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI for
Oswego (2-3, 2-2 Southwest Prairie).
Payton 13, Proviso East 2: Maya Rodriguez tossed a complete game for Payton (5-4), striking out nine. Hanna Alvarado had two hits including a triple and a RBI while Killian Madden added two doubles and a RBI in the win.
Plainfield Central 6, Plainfield East 0: Corey Shahan (5-3) fanned five for Plainfield Central (10-4, 3-1 Southwest Prairie) and Kaleigh Nagle recorded a triple and a RBI while Kristina Shahan had a pair of hits and two RBI.
Reavis 1, Evergreen Park 0: Caitlyn Balandis allowed one hit and struck out 17 for Reavis (11-5, 9-1 South Suburban Red).
Regina 9, Mount Assisi 7: Niki Richards was 4-for-4 with two doubles for Regina (3-7).
Richards 9, Shepard 5: Brianna LeBeau (8-0) struck out six in a complete-game effort for Richards (12-0, 11-0 South Suburban Red) and Breanna Kaminski was 3-for-4 and Danielle Kappel was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer. Kristia Apato and Sam Kusta each added a pair of hits.
Riverside-Brookfield 12, Fenton 1: Emily Hastings hit a home run and drove in six RBI to lead Riverside Brookfield (8-4, 2-2 Metro Suburban). Kylie O'Connell recorded five strikeouts.
