Elk Grove 13, Schaumburg 1: Dani Goranson (9-1) fanned four in five innings' work for top-ranked Elk Grove (9-1, 2-0 Mid-Suburban East). Devan Parkison and Becca Walz had three RBI each.

Stagg 1, Lincoln-Way North 0: Lea LaSota (13-0) kept No. 2 Stagg (14-0, 1-0 SouthWest Suburban Red) unbeaten by striking out six in a complete game. She was also 2-for-4 at the plate. Mary Kate Fournier drove in the game's only run.

Fremd 15, Rolling Meadows 0: Ashlynne Schwantz (6-0) struck out 11 in the win for No. 4 Fremd (11-0-1, 2-0 Mid Suburban West). Megan Hubbard went 2-for-3 with a homer, four RBI and one run. Michelle Mazur went 2-for-2 with a homer and two RBI.

Sandburg 13, Lincoln-Way Central 2: Jasmine Sifuentes earned the win for No. 6 Sandburg (8-4, 1-0 SouthWest Suburban Blue) while Jess Perkins connected on two homer and four RBI.

Trinity 11, Loyola 7: Nicole Evans was 3-for-5 at the plate for No.8 Trinity (12-1, 5-1 GCAC Red) while Abby Ramiriz had three hits.

Cary-Grove 17, McHenry 1: Lindsay Efflandt (8-1) struck out nine to earn the win for No. 9 Cary-Grove (10-1). Lisa Semro was 3-for-5 at the plate with a homer and Emma Gaulkey was 4-for-6. Alexis Haley contributed with a 4-for-4 game at the dish.

St. Charles North 3, South Elgin 1: Amanda Ciran (7-0) struck out 11 in the complete-game win for St. Charles North (10-1). She also went 2-for-3 and scored one run.

Amundsen 16, Von Steuben 6: Araceli Flores was 4-for-5 with a homer and two RBI while Shannel Rodriguez had two hits including a triple and three RBI.

Andrew 6, Lincoln-Way West 1: Winning pitcher Brooke Hofer (3-5) fanned seven and gave up four hits in the complete-game win for Andrew (4-5). Kelly Christner went 2-for-4 with a triple and an RBI.

Barrington 7, Prospect 4: Jordan Wekony had two doubles and two RBI while Liz Owen contributed with a home run and two RBI for Barrington (11-3, 2-0 Mid-Suburban West).

Beecher 15, Gardner South-Wilmington 4: Skyler Woods recorded a pair of hits and three RBI for Beecher (8-1) while Sarah Crews earned the win.

Brooks 7, Kennedy 3: Mari Hooper (4-0) captured the win for Brooks (7-1, 5-1 Red-South). Cynthia Hughes finished 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI in the win.

Carmel 12, Marian Central 2: Erika Schoenfel went 3 of 3 with a double and a RBI and Sally Seneeski hit a homer, a double and added four RBI for the Corsairs (7-4).

Downers South 13, Hinsdale Central 0: Aleisha Bozek only allowed two hits and was the winning pitcher. Danielle Prezzo went 2-for-3 with a homer, double and five RBI. Emma Topps went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run.

Immaculate Conception 16, Aurora Christian 2: Briana Iosco (5-4) struck out seven in three innings, earning the win for Immaculate Conception. She was also 2-for-3 with four RBI and a run scored at the plate.

Kaneland 9, Rochelle 1: Alexis Villareal threw a complete game to earn the win and Andrea Potts was 3-for-4 at the plate for Kaneland (8-6).

Joliet Catholic 12, Kankakee 1: Haley Gerl went 3-for-3 with a double, RBI and two runs. Alex Wyss went 2-for-3 with two runs. Kayla Borgra went 1-for-2 with a grand slam.

Lane 8, Young 1: Kaleigh Ambrose (5-2) picked up the complete-game win for Lane (6-5, 3-0 Red North). Jessica Albert and Corrie Lucchesi homered and had three RBI apiece.

Metea Valley 5, St. Charles East 2: Lauren Carlson connected with a homer and had two RBI while Lori Obendorf was 2-for-3 with two RBI for Metea Valley (4-3).

Payton 24, Chicago Academy 3: Maya Rodriguez fanned 11 in the complete-game win for Payton and also went 3-for-4 from the plate with a homer and four RBI. Breanne Durovic went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Yliana Velazquez went 2-for-4 with four RBI.

Perspectives-Calumet 14, Vocational 11: Morgan Williams went 3-for-4 with a homer for Perspectives-Calumet (5-3).

Prairie Ridge 7, Grayslake Central 0: Kirsten Stevens struck out nine in a complete-game effort for Prairie Ridge. Lauren Seegers was 3-for-4 with a homer, a double, four RBI and three runs scored.

Reavis 2, Queen of Peace 1: Caitlyn Balandis (7-2) struck out 15 in the complete-game win for Reavis (10-5). She went 1-for-4 from the plate, driving in the game-winning RBI. Sabreen Suliman went 1-for-3 and scored the game-winning run.

Roosevelt 6, Prosser 1: Robin Criniere pitched a complete game for the Roosevelt (2-3) win. Monze Rodriguez homered.

St. Francis 4, Montini 0: Taylor Ronchetto struck out 10 and allowed one hit for St. Francis (8-3).

Seton 13, Maria 8: Jasmine Ray was 3-for-6 with two runs scored for Seton (7-4, 4-0 GCAC White).

Streamwood 10, East Aurora 0: Winning pitcher Kaitlyen Hedger fanned five. Jen Mellinthin went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two runs. Bri Bodjewicz went 3-for-3 with three runs.

Taft 17, Lincoln Park 8: Kyra Vidas (2-0) earned the win while Emily Schmalbach hit for the cycle and drove in eight runs for Taft (4-4, 2-2 Red-North).

Waukegan 6, Grant 1: Waukegan (4-6) was led by Stephanie Rodriguez's three-run homer.

Westmont 10, Herscher 2: Stephanie Wolf had a double, three RBI and two runs scored for Westmont (1-7) while Megan Seratt had a pair of RBI.

Wheaton Academy 13, Walther Lutheran 2: Paige Huizenga (4-3) earned the win for Wheaton Academy (5-4).

Zion-Benton 2, Stevenson 1: Jennifer Lutz fanned four in a complete game for Zion-Benton (11-2).
