Amundsen 9, Payton 8: Brea Henderson allowed no earned runs in a complete-game effort for Amundsen (7-4, 3-1 Blue North), striking out four. Tonya Prodraomos was 3-for-3 with a triple, three RBI and three runs scored in the win.
Burlington Central 13, Marengo 0: Sam Klein was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a RBI while Tanner Scott also had three hits including a home run, a double and four RBI in the win for Burlington Central (8-3).
Cary-Grove 6, Jacobs 2: Lindsay Efflandt (7-1) earned the win for No. 9 Cary-Grove (9-1). Taylor Dunne was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI and Alexus Haley added a double.
Crystal Lake Central 4, Grayslake Central 3: Sara McConnell went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Taylor Ward tossed a complete game for Crystal Lake Central.
Downers South 12, Naperville North 2: Chelsea Lavin connected on a pair of doubles and scored twice for Downers South (7-4) and teammate Katy LaCivita added a pair of RBI and a run scored for the Mustangs. Danielle Trezzo was also 2-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored.
Elgin 4, Waubonsie Valley 2: Hannah Perryman (5-2) tossed a complete game and struck out 12 for Elgin (11-4) while Jaclyn Navarro recorded a RBI.
Hinsdale South 8, Leyden 5: Hinsdale South's (5-5) Cecie Portillo went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and Lindsey Schwartz had a double and a run scored.
Hubbard 16, Kenwood 6: Natalia Castro was 4-for-4 for Hubbard (7-2, 4-1 Blue-South).
Joliet Catholic 12, Montini 0: Ashley Searing fanned seven in a complete-game effort and was 3-for-5 with a homer to lead Joliet Catholic (9-1). Kayla Borgra was 4 of 5 with a homer, a double, five RBI and a run scored.
Kankakee 9, Crete-Monee 3: Brandi Coy fanned 10 for Kankakee (8-2, 3-0 Southland) while Kourtnee Thompson was 3 of 4 at the plate and Kylee Johnson added two hits and three stolen bases.
Kennedy 18, Morgan Park 9: Sara O'Brien was 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and four RBI in the win for Kennedy (4-1, 4-0 Red-South). Alexa Juarez totaled three doubles a four RBI.
Lakes 3, Vernon Hills 1: Shannon Cooley tossed a complete game and struck out seven for Lakes.
Lisle 8, Coal City 3: Bekka Houda (5-0) led Lisle (7-0, 3-0 Instate Eight North) with eight strikeouts while Melanie Early was 3 of 3 with two doubles, a RBI and a run scored.
Lockport 1, Naperville Central 0: Lockport (10-1-1) was led by Kelly Bowler (4-1), who struck out five. Ashley London knocked in the game-winning run.
Loyola 9, Regina 5: Jackie Ward hit a grand slam for Loyola (5-8).
Lyons 10, Queen of Peace 8: Lyons (6-2) earned the victory behind the efforts of Alyssa Smith (3-for-4, 2 RBI, 3 R) and Karen Caithamer (4-for-4, 2 RBI).
Manteno 5, Dwight 4: Manteno (13-2) was led by Brooke Stulga (6-0), who struck out 10.
Marian Catholic 8, Homewood-Flossmoor 7: Rachel Glenn was 2-for-4 with a pair of homers and five RBI. Shannon Dec went 2-for-4 with a game-winning RBI.
Minooka 4, Plainfield Central 2: Sara Novak struck out nine for Minooka.
Morgan Park Academy 7, Latin 1: Sarah Holmstrom had a pair of hits and three RBI for Morgan Park Academy (3-1, 1-0 Independent School League).
Nazareth 8, Rosary 6: Shannon Cawley went 4 of 5 with a double and two runs scored for Nazareth (10-2). Colleen McGivney added two RBI and four hits.
New Trier 11, Evanston 0: Brigit Leuter allowed one hit and struck out 14 for New Trier (4-6). Chelsea Delaney hit a three-run homer.
Oak Forest 7, Tinley Park 0: Emily Norton surrendered one hit and struck out 11 for Oak Forest (12-2). She was also 2-for-3 at the plate while Emily Naegele was 2-for-4 with a RBI and two runs scored.
Oak Lawn 6, Evergreen Park 4: Allison Palhegyi hit a three-run double for Oak Lawn (2-8, 2-6 South Suburban Red) and Kim Braasch scored twice.
Providence 11-1, Illiana Christian 4-0: In Game 1, Lacey Hill was 4 of 4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored while Sarah Brightmore had two hits and two runs scored.
Richards 16, Eisenhower 1: Kailie Tobin (4-0) struck out seven for Richards (11-0, 10-0 South Suburban) in a complete game and Dana Cummings was 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI.
St. Ignatius 8, Fenwick 6, 8 inn.: Gena Lenti scored five times and went 3-for-4 for St. Ignatius (7-3) and Amanda Pisani recorded three hits including a double and three RBI.
T.F. South 12, Hillcrest 1: Megan Frieling struck out six to earn the win for T.F. South. At the plate, Sophie Kessler was 3 of 4 with a homer and four RBI while Frieling had two hits and a RBI.
Trinity 4, Oak Park 1: Erin Baldwin was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI for No. 8 Trinity (11-1). Nicole Evans also contributed with a double.
St. Francis 4, Wheaton North 3: Laura Behnke scored the game-winning run for St. Francis (7-3).
South Elgin 5, Batavia 4: Sarah Irving was 2-for-4 with a double and Shannon Conway was 2-for-3 for South Elgin (9-3).
Woodlands 11, Willows 1: Christiana Osoria smashed a grand slam in the Woodlands' (2-1) victory.
Zion-Benton 9, Stevenson 1: Janika May (2-1) struck out six for Zion-Benton (10-2, 2-1 North Suburban Lake). Shannon Lauret was 4-for-5 with a triple, three RBI and two runs scored and Cindy Garces had a triple, a double and s single.
