Stagg 3, Homewood-Flossmoor 1: No.2 Stagg (13-0) remained perfect thanks to Lea LaSota's two-hit, seven-strikeout complete-game performance pitching. Jessica Arevalo went 1-for-2 at the plate with a homer.
Fremd 10, Hersey 0: Ashlynne Schwantz earned the win for unbeaten No.4 Fremd (10-0-1). Michelle Mazur was 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Sandburg 4, Lincoln-Way North 2: Lora Olson earned the win and Jasmine Sifuentes got the save for No. 6 Sandburg (7-4). Jess Perkins had two doubles and two RBI.
Mother McAuley 17, Morton 4: No.7 Mother McAuley (14-2) was fueled by Ashley Rogers (3-for-3, three-run home run), Megan Bush (4-for-5, two doubles, four RBI), and Micaela Carney (3-for-4, two-run home run, three RBI).
Cary-Grove 5, Huntley 1: No.9 Cary-Grove (8-1) was powered by Emma Gaulke (2-for-3, two-run homer) and Taylor Dunne (2-for-3, run).
Amundsen 12, Prosser 2: Abigail Naranjo earned the win for Amundsen (6-4, 2-1 Blue North) with eight strikeouts in three innings. Tonya Prodromos was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI.
Barrington 7, Buffalo Grove 3: Kiersten Tinkoff (2-for-4, three RBI) and Colleen Shandley (3-for-4) led Barrington (10-3).
Clemente 10, Lincoln Park 8: Clemente (2-3) was led to victory by Mercedes Diaz (3-for-4), Sydali Calderon (4-for-5), and Ayanna Freeman (3-for-4). Candy Chavez earned the win.
Curie 16, Kelly 6: Gabriela Garcia (4-2) struck out three, allowed four hits and a walk in four innings of the Curie (8-2) win. Desiree Vasquez aided at the plate by going 2-for-4 with a double.
Deerfield 9, Highland Park 5: Zoey Fishman (2-for-4,double, two RBI) and Jessica Rutstein (3-for-5, three RBI) helped to lead their team to its first victory of the season.
Grayslake North 3, Crystal Lake Central 1: Nikki Livengood stuck out seven in a complete-game victory. Jordyn Bowen went 2-for-3 with a double and Jessica Davis went 1-for-2 with a RBI .
IMSA 3, Timothy Christian 2, 9 inn.: Melissa Perkins fanned 10 in her complete-game win. Cassie Parks had the game-winning hit in extras.
Lisle 12, Coal City 1: Bekka Houda dominated in her complete-game win with 15 strikeouts. Grace Riley (3-for-5, double, three RBI, two hits), Mackenzie Buchet (3-for-5, double, two RBI, two runs) and Stephanie Loconsole (3-for-4, three RBI, two runs) showed up big offensively.
Lockport 13, Thornridge 0: Taylor Weissenhofer allowed only one hit in her win for Lockport (9-1-1). Allie Phad batted in three runs with a triple and double.
Lyons 5, WW South 4, 9 inn.: Karen Caithamer went 4-for-4 and drove in the game-winning run for Lyons (5-2). Alyssa Koziol fanned seven and got the win.
Nazareth 7, St. Joseph 2: Cat Usher allowed no earned runs in her complete-game win for Nazareth (9-2). Colleen McGivney was 3-for-4 with a run and a RBI.
Northside 3, Taft 0: Chamara Moore pitched a complete game and fanned five. Nancy Garcia went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and a run. Maddie Minogue had a double and a RBI.
Oak Forest 14, Oak Lawn 1: Hannah Prucak went 3-for-3 with two RBI. Felicia Turk and Emily Naegeleboth each hit a home run.
Providence 6, Morris 5: Amanda WIlson was the winning pitcher and went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBI at the plate. Maddie Rosa knocked in the game-winning run.
Richards 3, Tinley Park 2, 8 inn.: Kailie Tobin scored the game-winning run to help Richards (10-0) stay perfect.
Ridgewood 12, Latin 2: Nikki Wagner went 2-for-3 and jacked two homers for Ridgewood (8-2).
Rosary 11, Aurora Christian 1: Audrey Ruddy notched the win for Rosary. Emily Meyer (2-for-3, two RBI), Brenda Rocha (2-for-4) and Danielle Reder (2-for-2) were leaders at the plate.
Seton 23, Josephinum 9: Aja Phillips pitched a winning game. Deanna Weller (4-for-7, two-run homer run, six RBI, two runs) and Lauren Young (5-for-7, two RBI) led offensively.
West Chicago 9, Burlington Central 0: Mary Connolly fanned 10 and allowed just two hits. Tarah Rayos hit two triples and Jessica Wood added two RBI.
Young 10, Lake View 0: Lexie Quiones and Clara Ledsky each hit a home run for Young (3-4, 2-1 Red North).
