Elk Grove 11, Loyola 1: Dani Goranson (6-1) struck out 12 for No. 2 Elk Grove (6-1) and drove in two RBI at the plate. Jessica Balzano was 2-for-4 with a three-run homer.
St. Charles North 2, Lake Park 0: Amanda Caron struck out three in the complete-game win for No. 8 St. Charles North (3-0).
Brooks 6, Washington 3: Mari Hooper (3-0) earned the win for Brooks (5-0, 4-0 Red-South) while Karalyn Kelley was 3-for-3 with three RBI and Kiara Moore was 3-for-5.
Evanston 13, Maine East 1: Anna Balch was 3-for-4 with three RBI for Evanston (2-1).
Fenwick 4, Oak Park-River Forst 2: Fenwick (4-4) was led by Kerry Lange (2-2), throwing a complete game, allowing just two earned runs.
Gage Park 10, ACE Tech 9: Jasmine Serrano (1-0) earned the win for Gage Park (1-0, 1-0 Yellow).
Glenbrook South 7, Niles North 1: Jen Zucker struck out 11 in a complete-game effort for Glenbrook South (3-4).
Kennedy 8, Ag. Science 5: Megan Cunningham (2-0) threw a four-hitter with seven strikeouts, leading the Crusaders (3-0, 3-0) to the Red-South win. Alexa Juarez was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI for Kennedy.
Lane 12, Regina 4: Jessica Albert was 3-for-4 with two RBI for Lane (4-3).
Leyden 22, St. Joseph 0: Morgan Maize (5-0) struck out five and Bri Michels was 3-for-3 with a double for Leyden (6-0).
Lincoln-Way East 19, Thornridge 0: Nicole Miskowicz hit a home run and a double and racked up four RBI for Lincoln-Way East (5-0).
Lisle 9, Aurora Central 2: Melanie Early struck out 12 for Lisle (3-0) and went 3-for-5 at the plate in the win.
Lyons 10, Glenbard East 9, 9 inn.: ALyssa Smith was 4-for-4 with a three-run homer and four RBI for Lyons (2-2). She also drove in the game-winning run.
Mother McAuley 5, St. Ignatius 4: Katie Adent went 2-for-4 with three RBI for Mother McAuley (10-2).
Payton 12, Amundsen 5: Maya Rodriguez fanned 14 in the win for Payton (2-2). Hanna Alvarado had three hits and a RBI while Kiellian Madden added two hits and three RBI. Anissa Vazquez also had three RBI.
Ridgewood 11, Illiana Christian 7: Sam Krasinski was 3-for-5 with two runs scored for Ridgewood (4-2).
Seton 19, Holy Trinity 9: Aja Phillips (3-0) earned the win for Seton (4-2) and Jasmine Ray added three RBI.
