Elk Grove 14-4, Resurrection 0-3: No. 2 Elk Grove (4-1) won Game 1 behind the effort of Dany Goranson (4-1) who struck out five and hit a home run in the win. Kristen Setkovic hit a home run and finished with two RBI and Megan Keegan was 2-for-4 with two RBI. Elisa Payne drove in the game-winning run in the nine-inning Game two. Becca Walz had a two-run homer.

Trinity 10-12, Regina 3-2: Chase Machain (5-0) fanned seven in a complete game for No. 8 Trinity (8-0) in Game 1. In Game 2 Britney Bura (3-0) captured the win as Taylor Lang had three hits and a RBI and Machain drove in three.

Fremd 10-12, St. Charles East 0-3: Rachel Doering (4-0) struck out eight for No.13 Fremd (6-0) in Game 1 while Brittany Ciura had a double and a three-run home run. Megan Hubbard added three RBI. In Game 2, Ciura was 2-for-2 with a grand slam and six RBI.

Downers North 4-7, Glenbard East 0-0: In Game 1 Dale Rendek fanned 11 for the complete-game win for No. 14 Downers North (5-0). In Game 2 Kendall Rendek struck out 12 and homered.

Amundsen 16, Roosevelt 4: Winning pitcher Brea Henderson (3-1) fanned 10 for Amundsen (5-2, 1-0 Blue-North). Erika Reffett went 2-for-4 with a single, double and our RBI.

Antioch 5, Barrington 3: Amber Larson and Kayleen Ressler each had a two-run homer. Olivia Duehr had one homer.

Brooks 9, Bogan 6: Winning pitcher Krystal Vazquez struck out six and went 2-for-4 with two runs from the plate for Brooks (4-0, 3-0 Red-South).

Carmel 6-9, Waukegan 3-0: Erika Schoenfeld picked up the win in Game 1. In Game 2 Nicole Bitter struck out 16 and allowed three hits in the complete-game win.

Curie 13, Lindblom 3: Brittany Dimas went 1-for-2 with two RBI, two runs, two walks and four stolen bases for Curie (4-2, 1-0 Blue South).

DeKalb 13, Hampshire 0: Freshman Katie Kowalski tossed her second no-hitter of the season for the Barbs.

Leyden 5-15, Maine West 2-5: Morgan Maize (4-0) K'ed 11 in Game 1 for No. 18 Leyden (5-0). Dana Sullivan had a double, a triple and two RBI and Amanda Moran had a home run. In Game 2, Maize hit two home runs and totaled six RBI, April Markowski had three hits including a double and three RBI and Kelly Nessling added three RBI.

Glenbard North 10-4, York 0-0: Lilly Secho (3-0) struck out six for Glenbard North (4-0) in Game 1. Alexis Simone was 2-for-3 with a three-run homer run and four RBI. In Game 2 Lindsey Cherry struck out seven in the win.

Hubbard 19, Julian 3: Naomi Flores (1-0) fanned seven for Hubbard (2-0, 1-0 Blue-South).

Marian Catholic 3-10, Fenwick 0-0: Shawna Sadler went 2-for-3 for Marian Catholic (6-2) in Game 1. In Game 2 Clark went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and Becca Gray had three RBI.

Lincoln-Way West 11-8, Plainfield East 9-7: Lauren Wojdyla hit a three-run home run in Game 1 for Lincoln-Way West.

Manteno 13, Iroquois West 1: Manteno (8-1) captured the win behind Haley Hatella's nine strikeouts. She also went 4-for-4 at the dish. Haley Beck also was 4-for-4 for Manteno.

Manteno 15, Ridgeview 3: Brook Spulga (3-0) struck out 18 and went 5-for-5 at the plate with four RBI for Manteno.

Mother McAuley 12-8, Loyola 5-4: Ashley Rogers earned the win on the mound in Game 1 and hit a home run and two RBI for Mother McAuley (9-1, 3-0 GCAC Red). Megan Bush was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. In Game 2 Molly Cummings hit a pair of home runs.

Nazareth 4, Queen of Peace 3: Shannon Cawley had three hits and scored twice for Nazareth (4-2).

Plainfield Central 11, Yorkville 1: Corey Shahon tossed a two-hitter for Plainfield Central and Olivia Scott hit a homer and drove in two RBI. Morgan Vogt finished with two hits.

St. Ignatius 3-11, De La Salle 2-8: St. Igatius (6-1) won Game 1 behind Ali Lenti's five strikeouts and Annie Chimienti drove in the winning run. Maura Lynch went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI and Kayla Jones had three RBI.

Schaumburg 5, Antioch 2: Brianne Lingl had two hits including a two-run homer for Schaumburg (2-1). Jenna Lane also hit a home run.

Seton 11-19, Hammond (Ind.) 0-12: Brittani Reme had two hits and three RBI in Game 1 for Seton (3-2) while Breanna Wellere had six strikeouts in the win in Game 2.

T.F. South 7, Kankakee 6: Megan Frieling fanned 10 and went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and three RBI. Amanda Hallberg added two RBI for T.F. South (3-4).

Wheaton North 8-12, Bartlett 1-3: Katie Thornton (2-1) struck out 12 for Wheaton North (5-2). Kelsey Ulrich went 2-for-3 with a home run.

Zion-Benton 2, Crystal Lake South 1: Sydney Routsi had the game-winning home run for Zion Benton (6-1).
