St. Charles North 12, Schaumburg 2: Taylor Russell (3-for-4, three RBI) and Sydney Russell (3-for-5, two runs, two RBI) combined to power the No. 5 North Stars (2-1)
Oak Forest 4, Evergreen Park 1: Colleen Sherwood scattered four hits in her complete game effort for the No. 6 Bengals (3-1). Emily Missaggia added two hits and two RBI to pace the offense.
Richards 4, Lemont 2, 9 innings: Brianna LeBeau struck out seven, allowing just three hits in her complete game effort to lead the No. 19 Bulldogs (4-0). Nicole Ellement had the go-ahead RBI in the win.
Barrington 10, Jacobs 0: Jordan Wekony went 2-for-3 with a double, homer and three RBI for the Fillies (4-1).
Joliet Catholic 12, Reed-Custer 0: Megan Novak went 2-for-3 with three RBI, while Alex Wyss was 3-for-3 with a pair of RBI to lead the Angels (3-0).
Lane 12, St. Ignatius 3: Kayleigh Ambrose threw a complete game, striking out seven for the Indians (2-0). Hailey Pieruccini smacked two doubles and had four RBI.
Leyden 3, Larkin 0: Morgan Maize helped the Eagles (2-0) to the win with a complete-game, ten strikeout performance. Maize also smacked a two-run double at the dish.
Lockport 7, Lake Park 0: Kelly Bowler picked up the win on the mound, tossing five scoreless innings. Melissa Stoch cranked a two-run homer for the Porters (1-0).
Luther North 15, Northtown 3: Vicki Sobecki went the distance for Luther North (3-0), striking out six. Ashley Moncada finished with 3 RBI to pace the offense.
Plainfield Central 11, Joliet West: The Wildcats got a complete game from Morgan Vogt, who also had a pair of RBI at the plate. Cailey Baker went 2-for-2 with three RBI.
WW South 9-11, Oak Park 2-7: In Game 1, Bekah Munday tossed a complete game and went 3-for-4 with a homer. Hannah Granger hit a homer to go with four RBU and threw a complete game in the nightcap for the Tigers (9-2).
