Gymnastics: Top preseason teams, individuals

Teams

1. Carmel: The two-time defending state champion Corsairs will look to retain their title behind Kristin Mirski, Lauren Feely (fourth in the all-around last year) and Jen Zeller (12th in the all-around last year).

2. Prairie Ridge: The Wolves won’t suffer from a depth issue this year, as they return Nikki Novak, Brittany Potts, Danielle Dyra, Anna Burrows and Sarah Kramer. They also welcome freshmen Riley Mahoney and Rachel Underwood.

3. Stevenson: Theresa Wojton and Alison Castriano lead a talented group for the Patriots.

4. Lake Forest: The Scouts, who finished second last year, will look to challenge again behind Kylie Carlson, Katherine McKeon, Brittany Moccia and Katie Meier.

5. Fremd: The Vikings look to return to the state meet behind Stephanie Uhrich, Shannon Lemajeur, Stephanie Gallo and Elizabeth Uhrich.
