Top 10 teams:

1. Prairie Ridge: Taking the slow and steady approach, The Wolves have giant-killer Jenny Covers to go along with Heather Kill, Brittany Potts, Nikki Novak and Danielle Dyra.

2. Stevenson: Ali Castriano, Theresa Wojton and Carlie Dobkin are a talented trio. If the patriots get Caitlin Pagano back from an arm injury, watch out.

3. Glenbard West: The Hilltoppers seek to improve on their 5th place finish from a year ago returning Becky Mladucky, Missy Guzman and Nicole Pagor.

4. Lake Forest: The Scouts qualified for the state finals for the time in 25 years last year. With Kylie Carlson and Ofelia Carmichael returning, they could challenge for a trophy.

5. Fremd: The Vikings are looking to make their 19th consecutive appearance at the finals behind Maegan Wochinski, Alyssia Van Duch and Stephanie Uhrich

6. Carmel: the defending champs look to challenge again with Kristin Mirski and Jen Zeller

7. Lyons: Lyons: With all-arounders Carolyn Cozza and Simone Bunsen returning, the Lions could challenge.

8. Schaumburg: The Saxons are looking to make their first finals appearance in their history with Ashley Miller and Brooke Shimin leading the way.

9. Naperville Central: The Redhawks could surprise with Carrie Deveney and Mari Aldaba.

10. Glenbard North: Christina Rini and Mariah Matesi lead a young, but talented squad.
