TEAMS

1. Stevenson: With a trio of all-arounders, the Patriots are looking for their fifth state title.

2. Lincoln-Way co-op: Ajani Cargle, who was 13th in all-around last year, hopes to lead the Knights to the top spot.

3. Conant: Steve Rink and Brian Reedy lead the Cougars, who were third last year

4. Wheaton co-op: Darren Fill, Mike Brackman and Bayly Shelly lead a talented and deep squad that was eighth last year.

5. Palatine: Matt Lee and Damian Przystal lead the Pirates, who are looking to return to state.

6. Glenbard North: The Panthers, who were sixth last year, return all-arounders Ryan Kennedy and Jared Vandenack.

7. Downers Grove North: Luke Wychocki, Luke Schubert, Lee Walker, Matt Rankow and John Schubert have the Trojans thinking about state.

8. Hinsdale Central: All-arounder Tyler Leahy leads a strong group of specialists that includes Nate Wiengard and Dave Hutchinson.

9. Buffalo Grove: The Bison have not qualified for state since 1980, but could make it this year behind Eugene Blackmon, Kyle Siebert, Kyle Chamberlain and Erik Balko.

10. Mundelein: Scott Marthinsen leads a deep squad that hopes to make its first state appearance in six years.
