Raves: Scored 39 points in an overtime game against Munster in the sectional semifinals.

Raves: As close to a one-man show as any team in Northwest Indiana had, Albrecht was great despite the double and triple teams.

Raves: Best clutch shooter around. Played huge in the second half in a loss to Kokomo in semistate.

By the Numbers: 33.2 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 2.1 spg. Shot 42 percent 3-point FGs.

Raves: Second leading scorer in the state behind his cousin, Zach Richie, Austin carried almost all of Lowell's scoring burden.

Ricky Carbajal

6-5 Senior Center, Munster

By the Numbers: 16 ppg, 6 rpg, 63 percent FGs.

Raves: A hyper force inside, Carbajal was one of the best at sealing off a defender and getting inside for easy buckets.

Jeremiah Jones

6-3 Senior Guard, Merrillville

By the Numbers: 17 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.8 apg, 54 percent FGs.

Raves: Silky smooth guard was a perfect complement for point man Brandon Clark. He might go to prep school next year.

Raves: A tenacious rebounder and scorer in the paint.

Raves: Most versatile player of the top 15. Good at posting up, shooting the ball and handling it.

Raves: Division I point guard who has made the all-area team twice in a row.

Raves: A top 10 scorer in school history, Eckert was an automatic double-double.
