CLASS 4A REGIONAL FINALS

BENET

Benet d. West Aurora 25-22, 25-18: Meghan Haggerty (nine kills), Maddie Haggerty (seven kills), Gabby Pethokoukis (five kills) and Jenna Jendryk (four kills) sparked the Redwings offensively. Hannah Kaminsky added 18 assists.

PLAINFIELD CENTRAL

Plainfield Central d. Neuqua Valley 25-20, 25-21: Erin Hyland’s 13 kills and Taryn Trubich’s 18 assists paced Plainfield Central to victory. Dana Peterson, Shannon Morris and Shannon Hagen also served an ace apiece.

MINOOKA

Minooka d. Bradley-Bourbonnais 25-15, 26-28, 25-23: Stacey Perinar had 19 kills and four aces and Skylar Day had 15 kills as the Indians pulled out a tight three-game win.

LIBERTYVILLE

Lake Zurich d. Libertyville 25-21, 22-25, 28-26: The Bears edged the regional host Wildcats as Amanda Orchard recorded 14 kills.

DUNDEE-CROWN

Huntley d. Barrington 25-18, 13-25, 25-17: Sam Boesch led the Red Raiders with 11 kills and 11 digs.

ROCKFORD-GUILFORD

Hononegah d. Rockford-Guilford 23-25, 25-12, 25-20: Victoria Quintanilla's 16 kills fueled Hononegah's comeback win.

DOWNERS NORTH

Downers North d. Downers South 25-17, 25-16: Jessie Tulacka recorded 12 kills and seven digs for the Trojans. Katherine Mahlke chipped in 10 kills and four digs for Downers North.

CLASS 3A REGIONAL FINALS

ST. FRANCIS

St. Francis d. Glenbard South 25-15, 25-18: The host Spartans were led by Carly Warner with seven kills and three blocks. Mckenna Kelsay added 12 assists and Kexi Riccolo had seven digs.

NAZARETH

Nazareth d. Lemont 25-21, 25-17: The Roadrunners swept the visiting Indians behind strong efforts from Brittany Brown and Sam Brown, who had 10 kills and seven kills, respectively. Kathryn Slunecko (13 assists), Mariah Rouse (three kills, eight blocks), Ana Vhhel (five kills) and Emily Milligan (18 digs) also played well for Nazareth.

SYCAMORE

Crystal Lake Central d. Sycamore 25-15, 25-22: Amelia Anderson (19 kills) and Natalie Ricca (25 assists) powered Crystal Lake Central past Spartans.

RESURRECTION

Carmel d. Resurrection 25-18, 25-23: Taylor Pippen tallied 14 kills and Megan Mowery had 14 assists for the Corsairs. Elizabeth Green led the Carmel defense with 12 digs.

KING

De La Salle d. King 25-9, 25-6: Carleigh Barringer recorded eight kills and Arianna Hayden added six kills for the Meteors (23-11). Natalie Arredia also contributed offensively with 20 assists while Julie Townsend had digs.

LATIN

Latin d. Westinghouse 25-7, 25-16: Nikki Dizon recorded five kills and three aces for Latin (12-4).

QUEEN OF PEACE

Queen of Peace d. Bremen 25-20, 26-24: Kaylynn Yerkes paced the Pride while seven kills and Morgan Miller and Allyson Murray chipped in five kills apiece. Kathleen Miller dished out 10 assists and Kristi Gierman recorded 12 digs.

OAK FOREST

Oak Forest d. Tinley Park 25-17, 25-19: Gina Ryan's team-high 12 kills and five digs led Oak Forest. Autumn Seiter had seven kills and eight digs, while Kate Zickus contributed 17 assists for the Bengals.

CLASS 1A REGIONAL FINAL

HARVEST CHRISTIAN

Harvest Christian d. Westminster Christian 25-18, 25-20: Sydney Doby performed well at net with 15 kills and Kali Cramer had 13 assists. Jade Martinez tallied 10 dogs.

MORGAN PARK ACADEMY

Morgan Park Academy d. Seton 25-7, 25-20: Kelly Sorfleet recorded five kills and six aces and Maya Palmer had five kills for the host Warriors. Katelyn Healy contributed nine aces.
