CLASS 3A SECTIONAL SEMIFINALS

JACOBS

Barrington 1, Huntley 0: Senior Catie Curran scored a goal off sophomore Aimee Pierce’s assist for Barrington.

Crystal Lake South 1, Rockton Hononegah 0, OT: Kali Loescher scored a goal 2:30 into overtime for Crystal Lake South (18-7-2). Goalkeeper Elizabeth Quinn had 12 saves en route to her 13th shutout of the season.

JOLIET CENTRAL

Lincoln-Way Central 3, Normal 2: Rachel Post, Somer Druszkowski and Cailyn Harrington scored a goal apiece for Lincoln-Way Central.

CLASS 2A SECTIONAL SEMIFINALS

BURLINGTON CENTRAL

Freeport 1, Rosary 0: Julia Luecke’s second-half goal led Freeport to victory.

Marian Central 5, Belvidere North 0: Harmony Kendzora, Caitlin McKenna, Megan Graf, Katie Przybysz and Susan Thomas each scored a goal for Marian Central.

WHEATON ACADEMY

Wheaton Academy 8, Ridgewood 0: Crystal Thomas scored four goals for Wheaton Academy (13-6). Ally Witt had a goal and three assists while Molly Cook contributed a goal and two assists, Deb Smith and Abby Olson also tallied a goal.

CLASS A SECTIONAL FINAL

HINCKLEY-BIG ROCK

St. Edward 2, Rockford Lutheran 1: Callie Johnson scored the game-winning goal for St. Edward off a corner kick from Monica Ramirez. Allison Kruk added a goal.
