Aurora Central 48, Newark 31: Jackie Cordona (15 points), Lisa Rodriguez (10 points) and Ashley Wilk (15 rebounds) led Aurora Central (1-1).
Bishop McNamara 57, Peotone 34: Khabiaizha Sanders had 19 points and Emily Olszewski had 14 in the Bishop McNamara (1-0) win.
Ellison 44, Julian 43: Shanice Dawson scored 10 points, picked up six rebounds and had five steals.
Latin 43, Brooks 41: Nikki Dizon scored 13 points, with eight rebounds and five assists. Bridget Cato sunk the game-winning shot.
Lincoln-Way East 74, Marian Catholic 68: No.20 Lincoln-Way East (1-0) was led by Taylor Johnson (20 points, six steals) and Meaghan McMahon (18 points).
Lisle 43, Luther North 15: Christian Fernette had 12 points for Lisle (1-0).
Maine South 60, Wheeling 38: Regan Carmichael’s 14 points helped No.14 Maine South (1-0) to victory.
Mother McAuley 48. Bogan 29: Alyssa Siwek finished with 14 points and Kim Funk with 10 in the Mother McAuley (1-0) win.
Niles West 49, Hersey 32: Jewell Loyd (29 points, 15 rebounds) had a big game for No. 25 Niles West (1-0).
Orr 45, Foreman 43: Orr (1-0) was led by Angel Wynn’s 14 points and Carmelita Marshal’s 11 points.
Payton 50, CMSA 21: Trystan Gilbert had 16 points with nine rebounds and Olivia Jones had 12 pts with rebs for Payton (1-0).
Reavis 58, Kennedy 5: Stephanie Verduzco (21 points, 10 rebounds), Natalie Skolarus (12 points, four rebounds) and Donna Mierwa (11 points, five rebounds) helped Reavis win.
Rich Central 60, Joliet Central 30: Rich Central (1-0) was powered by Chaz Duson (20 points, 10 rebounds), Ariel Sneed (10 points) and Jessica Warren (eight points, 11 rebounds).
Rich East 54, Providence 52: Rich East’s Danielle King had 17 points, six rebounds and four assists. Makeba Elliott had 17 points, nine rebounds and six steals.

St. Francis de Sales 50, U-High 32: Tasia Harris and Isis Nance both dropped 11 points each. Tyler Brown had six points and 14 rebounds.

West Aurora: Dazmine Chaney scored 13 points and Molly Jordan scored nine points with 10 rebounds.
