Bolingbrook’s offense continued to explode as the host Raiders ended the regular season with a 42-17 victory over Lockport in a SouthWest Suburban Blue game.
Aaron Bailey threw for one touchdown and ran for another and Jaden Huff and Omar Stover each ran for two TDs Friday night as the Raiders improved to 8-1, 6-1.
“The main goal is to go out and put points up,” Bailey said. “We just wanted to go out and do the job. My offensive line did great, my receivers had some big blocks and it was a great team win.”
Bailey, who had 10 carries for 135 yards and was 6-of-8 passing for 110 yards, opened the game with a 60-yard run on the first play from scrimmage. Stover then took it in from 15 yards out just 37 seconds into the game. Huff added a 2-yard run and Bailey scored on a 55-yard jaunt to give the Raiders a 21-3 halftime lead.
Lockport (6-3, 4-3) cut the lead to 21-10 when Rich Galvin (8 carries, 81 yards) broke through for a 56-yard TD run early in the third quarter.
