Buffalo Grove d. Barrington 25-21, 29-27: Jon Ward, Chris Shanahan and Jamie Schnittker each had six kils for No. 4 Buffalo Grove (29-5). Lukas Karch had 21 assists.

Libertyville d. Stevenson 25-19, 23-25, 27-25: Nikola Antonijevic (14 kills) and Danny Gescheidle (11 kills, seven digs).

Lincoln-Way Central d. Lincoln-Way East 25-19, 25-19: Brad Foster totaled six kills and four blocks in the win for Lincoln-Way Central (21-14, 9-2 Southwest Suburban Red). Jake Marotta had six kills and Alex Severson registered eight blocks and three digs.

Loyola d. Notre Dame 25-20, 23-25, 25-26: Paul Juska totaled 15 kills and three aces. Peter Sylvain had 23 assists and Sean Hynes had nine digs.

Lyons d. St. Francis 25-22, 26-24: Mark Hogan totaled 11 kills and three blocks in the win for Lyons (20-14). Adam Haas had 10 kills and Jack O’ Malley had nine kills.

Maine South d. Evanston 30-28, 25-22: Spencer Groessi totaled nine kills for Maine South (20-10, 8-2 Central Suburban South). Greg Sims had five kills and Joe Pearson had 10 assists.

Riverside-Brookfield d. Fenton 25-18, 25-22: Riverside-Brookfield (24-10) was led by Ben Bergstrom (nine kills, ace) and Alex Dziagwa (seven kills, block).

Vernon Hills d. Lake Forest 25-22, 25-16: Martin Niemczewski (seven kills), Garret Kubacki (six kills) and Justin Opitz (16 assists) led Vernon Hills.

Warren d. Zion-Benton 25-20, 25-18: Eduard Ciobanu powered Warren (22-11) with 14 kills and six digs. Dillon Schaefer had six kills and three blocks. Tyler Smith had 24 assists.
