York defeated Fremd, West Aurora, Elk Grove, Rolling Meadows and South Elgin to win the Fremd Invite. York (16-16, 2-3 West Suburban Silver) was powered by Jack Meehan (30 kills, four blocks, six aces, one assist and three digs), Jack Ribar (27 kills, seven blocks and one assist) and Kevin Hobbs (24 kills, five blocks, three aces, three assists and one dig).

VERNON HILLS

Vernon Hills d. Glenbard West 25-23, 31-29: Garret Kubacki powered Vernon Hills totaling 30 digs, six blocks and kills, five aces and 18 digs.
