Carmel d. Marian Catholic 25-13, 25-19: Carmel (17-14, 5-2 East Suburban Catholic) was led by Frankie Cohen (seven kills), Michael Fitzgibbons (11 assists) and Alex Dunlap (30 assists).

Glenbrook South d. Waukegan 25-8, 25-15: Connor Montgomery totaled five kills and two assists, while Brian Brennan had 20 assists for Glenbrook South (14-10, 6-2 Central Suburban South).

Lyons d. Addison Trail 25-20, 22-25, 32-30: Lyons (16-11) was led by Kevin McMahon (10 kills), Mark Hogan (eight kills, seven blocks), Jack Gouty (four blocks, 23 assists).

Richards d. Oak Lawn 25-23, 23-25, 26-24: Nick Costa totaled 17 kills and five blocks to lead Richards (17-6, 13-2 South Suburban Red). Nadeem Razick had 40 assists.

Warren d. Stevenson 25-18, 25-22: Warren (19-8, 8-1 North Suburban Prairie) was led by Eduard Ciobanu (11 kills, 17 digs) and Dillon Schaefer (10 kills, two blocks, four digs).

Waubonsie Valley d. St. Charles East 25-21, 25-20: Sean Keeve (13 kills), Jordan James (seven kills), Luke Furman (30 assists) and Michael Simmons led Waubonsie Valley (21-11, 2-2 Upstate Eight Valley).

PUBLIC LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Lincoln Park d. Mather 25-7, 25-9: Anthony Huang had six kills in the win for Lincoln-Park (16-7).

Northside d. North Grand 25-15, 25-17: Wesley Lorioka registered eight kills and four aces for Northside (19-8). Asher Perlmutter had five kills and two blocks.

Kelvyn Park d. Schurz 25-12, 25-16: Miguel Zepeda (seven kills, six digs), Mathew Marquez (six kills, two aces, two blocks) and Kevin Munoz (four kills).
