Sandburg d. Stevenson 22-25, 25-13, 25-19: No. 2 Sandburg (28-3) was led by Tom Carmody (nine kills), Jason Fox (seven kills) and Scott Fifer (28 assists).

New Trier d. Waukegan 25-14, 25-8: No. 3 New Trier (27-5, 7-0 Central Suburban Blue) was led by Alex Cook (six kills), Eric Kerr (four kills, four aces, 14 assists).

Hinsdale South d. Argo 25-14, 25-11: Hinsdale South (14-12) was led by Ray Riordan (seven kills), Eric Kluge (six kills) and Eric Damon (23 assists).

Lake Forest d. North Chicago 25-7, 25-8: Kris Hawkins (six kills), Michael Arthur (five kills, two digs) and Mick Steffens (13 assists).

Lincoln-Way East d. Lincoln-Way North 25-23, 27-25: John Kanapick totaled 5 kills and four blocks and Jake Tamaras totaled seven digs in the win for Lincoln-Way East (26-6, 7-1 SouthWest Suburban Blue).

St. Ignatius d. Mount Carmel 25-23, 25-22: David Nunez totaled 28 assists and Patrick McCue had six kills in the win for St. Ignatius (16-12, 3-7 Catholic White).

Stevenson d. Zion-Benton 25-20, 25-17: Nikola Antonijevic had eight kills and Danny Gescheidle had seven in the win for Stevenson (27-4, 6-0 North Suburban Lake).

Vernon Hills d. Lakes 25-8, 25-11: Garrett Kubacki and David Swanson had seven kills each and Justin Opitz had 16 assists in the win for Vernon Hills (24-4, 8-1 North Suburban Prairie).
