Downers North d. Wheaton North 25-10, 25-15: Troy Krafthefer had three kills and Greg Petty had six aces in the win for No. 6 Downers North (25-3).

Brother Rice d. Loyola 32-30, 25-20: Brother Rice (16-10) was led by Dan Weishar (12 kills), Matt Kill (nine kills) and Mike Noyes (29 assists).

Downers South d. Morton 25-23, 25-18: David Manganiello recorded eight kills in the win.

Elgin d. St. Edward 25-15, 25-23: Max Colina totaled nine kills and three digs, while Zayya Oshana had 13 kills.

Fenwick d. De La Salle 26-24, 25-23: Joe Kelly had five kills, Peter Carey had four kills and Billy Ryan had four aces in the win for Fenwick (8-6).

Richards d. Reavis 19-25, 25-19, 25-19: Richards (16-6, 12-2 South Suburban Red) was led by Mutasem Dainah (12 kills), Jeremy Norton (eight kills) and Nadeem Razick (28 assists).

Riverside-Brookfield d. Hinsdale Central 25-13, 25-23: Ben Bergstrom totaled 10 kills, two aces and four digs to lead Riverside-Brookfield.

St. Charles North d. Schaumburg 25-15, 29-31, 25-27: Steve Swanson had 28 assists in the win for St. Charles North (12-14).

Stevenson d. Glenbrook South 25-22, 25-22: Danny Gescheidle (seven kills), Nikola Antonijevic (four kills) and Zach Kravitz (15 assists) led Stevenson (26-4).
