Downers North d. Wheaton North 25-10, 25-15: Troy Krafthefer had three kills and Greg Petty had six aces in the No. 6 Downers North (25-3) victory.

Elgin d. St. Edwards 25-15, 25-23: Elgin (8-19) was led by Max Colina (nine kills, three digs) and Zayya Oshana (13 kills).

Fenwick d. De La Salle 26-24, 25-23: Joe Kelly (five kills), Peter Carey (four kills) and Billy Ryan (four aces) powered Fenwick (8-6).

Richards d. Reavis 19-25, 25-19, 25-19: Mutasem Dainah had 12 kills, Jeremy Norton had eight kills and Nadeem Razick had 28 assists for Richards (16-6, 12-2 South Suburban Red).

Riverside-Brookfield d. Hinsdale Central 25-13, 25-23: Ben Bergstrom led Riverside-Brookfield with 10 kills, two aces and four digs.

St. Charles North d. Schaumburg 25-15, 29-31, 25-27: Steve Swanson’s 28 assists helped lead St. Charles North (12-14) to victory.

Stevenson d. Glenbrook South 25-22, 25-22: Danny Gescheidle totaled seven kills, Nikola Antonijevic had four kills and Zach Kravitz had 15 assists for Stevenson (26-4).
