Buffalo Grove d. Wheeling 25-12, 25-9: No. 5 Buffalo Grove (24-4, 9-0) was led by Chris Shanahan (nine kills, six aces, five blocks) and Lukas Karch (24 assists).

Downers North d. Lockport 25-18, 25-12: Greg Petty had eight kills and Kurt Dolsen had six kills for No. 9 Downers North (24-3). Zach Parik had 18 assists.

Hinsdale South d. Hinsdale Central 25-16, 21-25, 25-18: Ray Riordan had 11 kills for Hinsdale South.

Kelvyn Park d. De la Salle 25-18, 25-20: Kevin Munoz (seven kills, two aces, two blocks, 19 assists), Matthew Marquez (seven kills, two aces, four digs), Miguel Zepeda (six kills, six digs) and Isidro Aleman (five kills) led Kelvin Park (17-9) to the win.

Mundelein d. Lakes 25-17, 25-17: Parker Tortorello led Mundelein (13-12) with nine kills.

Oak Lawn d. Argo 25-23, 25-19: Patrick Mcguinnes (10 kills), Mark Hansen (eight kills) and Ali Sheikh (25 assists) helped Oak Lawn (15-13, 11-2) to victory.

Shepard d. Lemont 25-19, 20-25, 25-20: Shepard (5-14) got 11 kills from Steve Martinez, 12 kills from Dan Taylor, and 31 assists from Pat Neylon.

Stevenson d. Antioch 25-18, 25-13: Danny Gescheidle had six kills and Nikola Antonijevic added five kills for Stevenson (21-3).
