Sandburg d. Joliet Central 25-12, 25-8: Kenny Payonk totaled four kills and three blocks for No. 3 Sandburg (21-3, 7-0 SouthWest Suburban Blue). Danny Boyle had 11 digs.

Downers North d. Benet 25-19, 25-20: JP Tulacka had 10 kills and Zack Parik had 22 assists in the win for No. 9 Downers North (23-3).

Ag. Science d. Kenwood 25-18, 25-22: Tim Johnson totaled 11 kills and eight blocks in the win for Ag. Science (13-2).

Brooks d. Vocational 25-11, 25-15: Danny Medrano (14 aces, two kills) and Diego Vargas (eight assists) led Brooks (9-3, 9-3 Green-South).

Fenwick d. St. Joseph 25-8, 25-23: Joe Kelly had 12 kills, while Jeremy Gruszka registered six kills and three blocks for Fenwick (7-5).

Lake Forest d. Libertyville 25-21, 25-1: Henry Lamp (10 kills), Kris Hawkins (six kills) and Nick Steffens (11 assists) led Lake Forest (12-13, 4-5 North Suburban Lake).

Lincoln-Way Central d. Stagg 25-14, 25-19: Alex Severson had 10 kills and Jake Marotta had eight kills for Lincoln-Way Central (15-11, 6-1 SouthWest Suburban Red).

Schurz d. Lake View 25-19, 25-9: Hugo Zuniga had eight kills and David Gutierrez had seven kills for Schurz (12-5, 12-0 Red-North).

Vernon Hills d. North Chicago 25-7, 25-7: Nick Garpow totaled three kills, eight aces and three digs for Vernon Hills (17-4, 6-1 North Suburban Prairie). Nate Bennett had eight assists.

Warren d. Andrew 25-22, 25-17: Warren was led by Kevin Ness (six kills, block), Chandler Scott (four kills), Joe Alexander (three kills, 10 digs), Eric Lindsay (three kills, 10 digs) and Tyler Smith (two kills, three aces, block, 17 assists).

York d. Wheaton North 25-19, 22-25, 26-24: York was led by Kevin Hobbs (10 kills, block), Chris Scudder (nine kills, six digs) and Jack Ribar (nine kills, two blocks).
