WW South d. West Aurora 25-9, 25-12: The top-ranked Tigers (21-1, 7-0 DuPage Valley) rolled as Thomas Jaeschke registered seven kills and Eric Luhrsen added five. David Priest handed out 19 assists.

New Trier d. Maine South 25-19, 25-14: No. 7 New Trier (19-4, 3-0 Central Suburban South) swept two games from Maine South as Andrew Gates recorded eight kills and Alex Cook added seven kills and two blocks. Eric Kerr (six digs, 13 assists) and Joe Coyne (15 digs) also played well for the Trevians.

Lincoln-Way East d. Joliet West: Ryan Dexter had five kills and dished out 12 assists for No. 8 Lincoln-Way East (17-5). Steve Kolodziej tallied three kills and two blocks for the Griffins.:

Addison Trail d. Leyden 25-15, 25-19: Armin Trgo’s nine kills carried Addison Trail (20-3, 2-1 West Suburban Gold) in a conference matchup. Mario Rojba and Blazej Sadowski added six kills apiece. 

Barrington d. Fremd 23-25, 25-11, 25-7: Matt Logue paced the Broncos with 14 kills. Tommy Leonard contributed eight kills.

Bartlett d. South Elgin 25-23, 25-19: David Upp tallied 11 kills and seven digs while Russell Martin chipped in seven kills.

Brooks d. Bogan 25-23, 16-25, 25-18: Ahmad Bradshaw had eight kills and Daniel Medrano added six kills and six aces for Brooks (7-2, 7-2 Green). Josh Medrano contributed six kills and three aces while Miguel Vazquez tallied three kills, six digs and 19 assists.

Buffalo Grove d. Hersey 25-23, 25-20: Jaimie Schnittker and Jon Ward each had 12 kills for No. 5 Buffalo Grove.

Carmel d. Nazareth 25-7, 25-16: Alex Dunlap served four aces and dished out 21 assists for Carmel (13-10). Mike Fitzgibbons finished with nine kills and Frankie Cohen had four kills.

De La Salle d. Gordon Tech 25-15, 25-21: Josh White had 13 kills to lead the Meteors (6-3).

Downers North d. Hinsdale Central 25-22, 25-21: No. 10 Downers North (16-3, 4-0 West Suburban Silver) swept Hinsdale Central in two games as Greg Petty and JP Tulacka each recorded seven kills.

Glenbard East d. Wheaton North 25-20, 25-17: Kevin Farrell tallied eight kills for Glenbard East (14-4). Tim Shenkin added five kills and five blocks while Jon Wood posted five blocks and 12 assists.

Glenbard West d. Lyons 22-25, 25-18, 25-7: The Hilltoppers wore down Lyons in three games as Alex Kahn recorded 10 kills, three blocks and four digs while Ian Lawson tallied nine kills, two blocks and two digs.

Glenbrook South d. Waukegan 25-15, 25-12: Lucas Rytel recorded 12 kills and Troy Farsakian chipped in seven kills and four blocks for Glenbrook South (11-7, 3-0 Central Suburban South. Brian Brennan posted 32 assists and seven digs for the Titans.:

Hinsdale South d. Proviso East 25-12, 25-14: Eric Kluge had seven kills and Eric Damon handed out 19 assists for the Hornets (11-9).

Illiana Christian d. Montini 25-23, 24-26, 27-25: The Vikings (8-6) pulled out a close match led by Kyle VanderZee (seven kills) and Dale Krygier (three kills, four blocks, 24 assists).

Lane d. Von Steuben 25-16, 25-19: Simon Tran and Peter Albright recorded six kills apiece for the Indians (6-3, 5-3 Gold).

Lincoln Park d. Payton 25-18, 25-17: Nicholas Ali (13 kills) and Gary Ruan (eight kills) led Lincoln Park (12-4, 7-0 Gold).

Mundelein d. North Chicago 25-9, 25-7: Corey Flores and Jamie Jahen each had four kills for Mundelein (10-8). Joey Timmerman contributed 11 assists and four digs.

Naperville North d. West Chicago 25-22, 19-25, 25-18: Shane Witmer (17 kills), Kyle Losik (eight kills) and Matt Jennings (five kills) led Naperville North (16-7, 5-2 DuPage Valley) at the net. Matt Peterson had nine digs and John Gorey contributed 23 assists.

Northside d. Taft 25-13, 26-24: Luke Sobieraj turned in a solid all-around performance with 12 kills, nine aces and 10 digs as Northside edged the Eagles in two games.

Oak Forest d. Reavis 25-20, 25-21: Cody Owens set the Bengals’ attack with 31 assists. Tim Loeding contributed five kills, three blocks and seven digs for Oak Forest (10-6).

Oswego d. Plainfield South 25-22, 22-25, 25-21: Tommy Schablinger (nine kills, 16 digs), Freddy Miller (eight kills, five digs) and Matt Purcell (eight kills, three blocks) sparked Oswego to a three-game win.

Plainfield Central d. Romeoville 25-17, 23-25, 25-17: Plainfield Central (12-5-1) won in three games behind the play of Wes Higginbotham (11 kills) and Will Schueman (13 blocks). Cody Swanson contributed 16 assists.

Riverside-Brookfield d. St. Ignatius 21-25, 25-22, 25-15: After dropping the opening game, the Bulldogs (13-5) rallied for a victory as Ben Bergstrom posted nine kills and six digs. Setter Elliot Louthen had 25 assists.

St. Charles North d. Elgin 25-13, 21-25, 29-27: Branden Hoerner recorded nine kills and three aces while Sean Donlevy totaled seven kills and five blocks. Steve Swanson added three kills and 22 assists for the North Stars.

Schurz d. North Grand 25-20, 19-25, 25-18: David Gutierrez had eight kills and Gabrielle Sanchez added four aces and 21 assists for Schurz (10-4, 10-0 Red-North).

Waubonsie Valley d. Streamwood 25-21, 25-16: Will Gautchi’s nine kills and Luke Furman’s 34 assists powered Waubonsie Valley (18-5, 2-0 Upstate Eight).

Willowbrook d. Morton 18 25, 25-23, 25-21: Billy Iacono put up 20 kills, two blocks and four digs for Willowbrook.
