New Trier d. Lake Forest 25-22, 25-18: Andrew Gates posted 10 kills for No. 6 New Trier (13-3). Alex Cook finished with eight kills while Jesse Solomon had two kills, two blocks and nine assists.

Naperville North d. Glenbard East 25-22, 16-25, 25-23: Henry Cheatham had 11 kills and Steve Massoni contributed 32 assists and 11 digs for the No. 8 Huskies.

Argo d. Lemont 25-20, 25-20: Tyler Krutilla (10 kills) and Juan Munoz (seven kills) powered Argo (6-11, 4-4 South Suburban Red) to victory. Sam Delarossa dished out 26 assists.

Carmel d. St. Patrick 25-18, 26-24: Frankie Cohen had 11 kills as the Corsairs (11-9, 1-0 East Suburban Catholic) edged the Shamrocks in a conference matchup.

Downers South d. Willowbrook 25-17, 25-17: David Manganiello registered nine kills to lift the Mustangs (17-2, 3-0) in West Suburban Gold action.

Glenbard East d. Naperville North 25-22, 16-25, 25-23: Kevin Farrell led the Rams (9-2) with 14 kills and Joe Farrell added 12 kills.

Hoffman Estates d. Conant 25-21, 25-21: Kyle Caldwell tallied 10 kills, three aces and two blocks for Hoffman Estates.

IMSA d. Bolingbrook 27-25, 25-20: Shobhit Roy served three aces and had 10 digs for IMSA (7-5). Pete Howes added four kills.

Libertyville d. Waukegan 25-8, 25-7: Rob St. Claire and Keegan McAuliffe spiked five kills apiece for Libertyville (7-6). Teddy Kopacz had 24 assists.

Minooka d. Plainfield Central 19-25, 25-17, 25-20: After dropping the opening game, the Indians (9-2) responded with strong efforts from Rick Bishop and Kevin Hannon (10 kills apiece) and Nick Vertin (six kills). Jordan Smith had 30 assists.

Oak Forest d. Eisenhower 21-25, 25-12, 25-16: Dylan Maziur racked up 15 kills and Cody Owens had 29 assists as the Bengals (9-6, 7-1 South Suburban Blue) prevailed in three games.

Oak Lawn d. Reavis 25-19, 19-25, 25-12: Pat McGuinness dominated around the net with 17 kills for Oak Lawn (9-9, 6-2 South Suburban Red).

Plainfield South d. Oswego East 25-19, 25-17: Scot Hegland led Plainfield South (4-9, 1-4 Southwest Prairie) with seven kills and two blocks.

St. Charles North d. Geneva 25-17, 25-16: Pat Donlevy had six kills and Sean Donlevy added four kills for the North Stars (5-4, 2-0 Upstate Eight River). Steve Swanson contributed 10 assists and five digs.

St. Rita d. Brother Rice 27-25, 25-22: Bobby Gallagher (12 kills, 12 digs) and Joe Fashingbauer (22 assists) carried the Mustangs (10-8, 3-2 Catholic Blue) over the Crusaders. John Johnson played well defensively with 10 digs.

Shepard d. T.F. Co-op 25-16, 25-19: Dan Taylor tallied 11 kills for the Astros (3-10).

Waubonsie Valley d. Bartlett 21-25, 25-16, 25-23: Sean Keeve and Chris MacFadyen sparked the Warriors' rally with 11 kills apiece. Will Gautschi had nine kills and Jordan James added seven kills. Luke Furman (38 assists) and Michael Simmons (21 assists) also contributed for Waubonsie Valley (14-3, 2-0 Upstate Eight Valley).
