Vernon Hills d. Lake Zurich 25-22, 25-23: Thomas Robinson had 13 kills and three digs for No. 9 Vernon Hills (10-1).

Brooks d. South Shore 25-19, 25-22: Josh Medrano had six kills and five aces for Brooks (5-2) while John McCain had six kills and Miguel Vasquez finished with three kills, 10 assists and five digs in the win.

Downers South d. York 25-12, 25-13: Downers South (11-2) was led by David Manganiello (six kills), Paris McFall (five kills), Sam Kull (four kills) and Brian Ruggiero (four aces).

Glenbard West d. St. Patrick 25-15, 25-10: Alex Kahn had eight kills, Alex Emanuel had 10 assists and Kevin McGinnis had 14 digs for Glenbard West.

Kelly d. Kennedy 20-25, 25-19, 25-23: Allen Huang recorded 11 kills, two aces and five assists and Anthony Macias netted eight kills and 13 assists for Kelly (3-6).

Minooka d. Hinsdale Central 25-22, 18-25, 25-15: John Savickas had nine kills, while Kevin Hannon and Nick Vertin totaled six apiece. Rick Bishop added six blocks.

St. Francis d. Benet 23-25, 25-15, 25-23: Jack Mordell powered St. Francis (9-1) with 13 kills and 15 assists. Matt Krese had six kills.

Warren d. Libertyville 25-22, 20-25, 25-19: Dillon Schaefer had 11 kills and Educard Ciobanu had ten kills.
