WW South d. Naperville Central 25-13, 25-20: In the DuPage Valley, No. 4 WW South (11-2, 2-0) downed Naperville Central behind 10 kills from Michael Stefanski.

Barrington d. Conant 25-14, 25-17: Tommy Leonard led No. 10 Barrington with six kills, and Taylor Ganzer had 13 assists.

Brother Rice d. Mount Carmel 25-17, 25-22: Dan Weischar had 11 kills, and Dan Dwyer had 26 assists for Brother Rice (7-6).

Downers South d. Lyons 25-17, 22-25, 25-13: Sam Kull led Downers South (4-2) with seven kills.

Fenwick d. St. Laurence 25-11, 22-25, 25-20: Billy Ryan had six kills, and Michael Brosnan had 13 assists to lift Fenwick.

Loyola d. St. Ignatius 25-21, 25-17: Chris Bulava had six kills, while Mario Asencio delivered 13 assists for Loyola.

Maine East d. Niles West 23-25, 25-23, 25-23: Maine East (5-2) received strong performances from Karol Grezbien, who had 13 kills, and Jon Coldea, who had 24 assists.

Shepard d. Eisenhower 25-22, 25-19: Steve Martinez had eight kills, Dan Taylor had seven kills and Pat Neylon had 23 assists for Shepard (2-9, 1-5 South Suburban).

Stevenson d. Carmel 25-14, 25-20: Nikola Antonijevic had eight kills, three aces and a block to power Stevenson (5-2).

Warren d. Mundelein 27-25, 25-23: Dillon Schaefer had nine kills, three blocks and three digs to power Warren (2-1, 1-0 North Suburban Lake).
