Gage Park d. Juarez 25-15, 25-19: Gage Park (2-1) was powered by Belmario Shine (eight kills, three aces) and Tom Stafford (six kills, three aces).

Holy Trinity d. Rickover 25-14, 25-15: Rolando Del Toro (seven kills, block) and Tomas Zarco (eight assists, four digs) helped lead Holy Trinity (1-0) to their first victory.

Kelvyn Park d. Schurz 25-12, 25-12: Miguel Zepeda (seven kills, four aces), Kevin Munoz (four kills, four blocks) and Jose Perez (two kills, 11 assists) contributed to the Kelvyn Park (5-2) win.

Kenwood d. Corliss 25-12, 25-20: Kenwood (2-0) earned its second win with help from Stevie Powell (six aces) and Ahmed Saeed (five assists).

Washington d. Little Village 14-25, 25-23, 25-16: Washington (1-1) was led by Matt Piasecki (nine kills).
