Ag. Science d. Phillips 25-10, 25-5: Ag. Science (1-0, 1-0 Blue South) was led by Alex Liriano's 12 aces and seven digs.

Argo d. Homewood-Flossmoor 25-22, 25-18: Tyler Krutilla had seven kills while Denis Bajic and Juan Munoz each had six for Argo (2-0).

Brooks d. South Shore 25-12, 26-24: Daniel Medrano finished with eight aces while Ahmad Bradshaw added six and Jesse Nelson had three for Brooks (1-0).

Carmel d. Lake Forest 16-25, 25-17, 25-20: Mike Fitzgibbons had 10 kills, two blocks and two aces for Carmel (2-0).

Glenbrook South d. Veron Hills 25-22, 25-20: Glenbrook South (1-0) captured a win behind Charley Tisch (seven kills, two aces), Troy Farsakian (five kills, four blocks) and Brian Brennan (22 assists, four aces).

Lincoln Park d. St. Ignatius 25-20, 25-19: Nicholas Ali recorded seven kills for Lincoln Park (2-0).

Little Village d. Gage Park 19-25, 25-11, 25-22: Tomas Aboytes had 12 kills while Steve Alvarado tallied 14 digs for Little Village (1-1, 1-0 Red-South).

North Grand d. Senn 25-21, 26-24: Lalo Villa totaled four kills while Luis Meraz had three kills and three blocks for North Grand (2-0). Ahias Torres contributed for 15 assists.

St. Francis d. Bartlett 25-18, 25-21: St. Francis (2-0) was led by Jack Mordell (21 kills, eight assists) and Jake Tibble (20 assists).

Schurz d. Prosser 25-9, 25-10: David Gutierrez tallied five kills and eight assists for Schurz (1-2, 1-0 Red North). Gabriel Sanchez also contributed with three aces and 14 assists.
