Argo d. Shepard 25-22, 22-25, 25-17: Denis Bajic (six kills), Tyler Krutilla (five kills) and Luis Medina (five kills) led Argo (1-0).

Bartlett d. Geneva 25-8, 25-17: Russell Martin had five kills and an ace for Bartlett (1-0). David Upp registered three kills, seven aces and seven digs. Dan Esmail totaled 10 assists and six digs.

Lake Park d. Larkin 25-9, 25-19: Lake Park was led by Mike Ragan (six kills, two aces), Jeremy Mark (four kills, two aces) and Trave Szczygiel (three kills, three aces, two blocks).

Lincoln Park d. Schurz 25-11, 25-21: Nicholas Ali had six kills and Gary Ruan had five to lead Lincoln Park (1-0).

Lincoln-Way Central d. St. Rita 25-18, 25-21: Sean Blackwood (14 kills), Alex Severson (six kills), Jake Marotta (four kills), Austin Overby (three kills) and Matt Dugan (14 assists).

Lincoln-Way East d. Marian Catholic 25-13, 29-27: Gavin Wright had 13 kills. Greg Margum totaled seven kills, two aces and five digs.

Mundelein d. Waukegan 25-9, 25-15: Darrien Horn's five kills and Corey Flores' four kills led Mundelein (1-0).

New Trier d. Stevenson 20-25, 25-14, 27-25: New Trier (1-0) was led by Andrew Gates (11 kills), Alex Cook (11 kills), Eric Kerr (21 assists) and Danny Ullman (17 digs).

Oak Lawn d. Eisenhower 25-12, 25-14: Pat McGuinness totaled four kills and three blocks. Marc Hansen had 13 digs.

Payton d. Mount Carmel 25-14, 25-18: Payton (2-0) was led by Harley Laubach (nine kills).

South Elgin d. Streamwood 25-16, 25-23: Trevor Aguiniga and Jake Mendel had seven kills each in the win.
