INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS LEAGUE
Northridge 48, North Shore 46, OT: Mike Leazer had 18 points in the Northridge (5-0-, 1-0) overtime win.
NONCONFERENCE
Aurora Central 56, St. Francis 47: Robert DeMyers scored 19 points, Joey McEachern had 15 and Joe Medgyesi put up 11 in the Aurora Central (3-2) win.
Barrington 54, Wheeling 51: Mark Bennet put up 16 points and Lee Conforty 12 to help Barrington (5-2) edge out Wheeling.
Montini 74, Luther North 30: John Gibbs had 12 points for Montini (2-0) while Matt Brachmann and Dan Burke both had 10 points with four boards.
Palatine 45, Elk Grove 39 Palatine (1-5) earned its first win of the year with Roosevelt Smart scoring 12 points along the way.
Proviso East 79, Raby 53: Saint Louis recruit Keith Carter scored 13 points and dished out five assists for the No. 4 Pirates in a nonconference game.
Vocational 49, U-High 35: Robert Hurd put up 15 points. Dantrelle Freeman finished with 11 points, 13 boards and seven blocks in the Vocational (5-0) win.
SPRINGFIELD
Hope Academy 67, Springfield Southeast 51: Carson Hughes scored 20 points. Alex Houston and Terrance Johnson both finished with 11 points and six rebounds for Hope Academy (5-1).
Proviso East 79, Raby 53: No.4 Proviso East (5-0) was powered by Keith Carter's 13 points and five assists.
