Providence-St. Mel 78, Chicagoland Jewish 50: Tevin King (24 points), Khalil Smith (17 points) and David Morgan (14 points) all reached double figures as Providence-St. Mel (7-0, 1-0) remained unbeaten.

St. Benedict 77, Ellison 36: The Eagles (4-1, 1-0) cruised to victory as Lamon Dawkins scored 19 points, Fawaz Sarumi had 14 points and Leon Brown netted 13 points.

NOBLE SPORTS

Rowe-Clark 69, Golder 57: Rowe-Clark (1-4, 1-0) captured its first win this season as Marcus Watt scored 20 points and dished out six assists. Dantrell Thomas had a huge game as well posting 18 points and 16 rebounds, while Matthew Ewing added 10 points.

NONCONFERENCE

Alcott 47, Bronzeville 37: Micheal Pearson had 20 points and seven boards and Antione Green contributed 12 points and six rebounds for Alcott (1-2).

Chicago Richards 60, Phoenix 52: Clinton Dishman had 20 points and Joel Moore put up 12 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for unbeaten Chicago Richards (5-0).

Dunbar 74, TEAM Englewood 72: DeJuan Appleberry carried the Mightymen (3-0) to a close win.

Grayslake North 55, Cary-Grove 46: Danny Mateling scored 16 points for Grayslake North (3-2).

Hubbard 64, Wells 48: Darius Greene (16 points, 11 rebounds, eight blocks) and Cordell Simmons (14 points, eight assists) sparked the Greyhounds (2-3) past Wells.

Jones 65, Juarez 45: Courtney Copeland scored 21 points and hauled in eight rebounds for Jones (5-1). Deandre Taylor contributed 13 points and seven rebounds.

Kelly 68, Rickover 48: The Trojans bested the Sea Dragons behind Thurman Cao's 17 points and five steals. Danny Rivera added 11 points for Kelly (1-5).

King 46, Payton 23: The Jaguars (5-1) rolled past the Grizzlies as Zachary Branch scored 11 points and Marquise Watkins had 10 points.

Lindblom 50, Fenger 44: The Eagles moved to 3-0 on the season as Ervin Stanford dropped 26 points.

Perspectives-MSA 40, Longwood 29: Kyre Dukes led Perspectives-MSA (1-5) to its first win this season with 15 points, four assists and three steals. JJ Turner was effective in the paint posting eight points, seven rebounds and six blocks.

Steinmetz 68, Sullivan 60: Frank Bland paced Steinmetz (4-1) with 22 points. Armon Minniefield chipped in 12 points and 11 rebounds.
