St. Joseph 59, Hales 42: The Chargers' A.J. Patty scored 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds against the Spartans. Reggie Johnson added 14 points for St. Joseph (3-2, 1-0).
METRO PREP
St. Gregory 79, St. Martin de Porres 44: Antonio Amoah dropped 29 points to lift St. Gregory (2-4, 1-0) in its conference opener.
NONCONFERENCE
Christ the King 67, Johnson 42: Roshawn Treadwell had 20 points, five steals and four assists as Christ the King cruised to victory. Laderek Guyton (14 points, eight rebounds), Matthew Dowsey (13 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks) and Stanley Colvin (11 points, seven rebounds, three steals) also contributed.
Kenwood 56, Prosser 45: Kevin Swanson had 18 points for the victorious Broncos.
Perspectives-Calumet 56, Robeson 40: Yeosue Craig scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed five boards for Perspectives-Calumet (1-3). Henry Crawford chipped in 10 points against the Raiders.
TEAM ENGLEWOOD 58, Hope 53: DeAngelo Rocquemore put up 12 points and 10 rebounds for TEAM ENGLEWOOD in nonconference action. Johnny Roland scored 10 points and handed out 10 assists.
Vernon Hills 46, Carmel 45: Vernon Hills nipped the Corsairs behind the play of Trent Fulton who netted 15 points.
Vocational 61, Gary Roosevelt 43: Robert Hurd paced the Cavaliers with 15 points and Dantrelle Freeman turned in a solid effort in the paint with 13 points, seven rebounds and five blocks
LINCOLN-WAY
Evergreen Park 59, Lincoln-Way West 53: Jacquet McClendon and Turron Clayton scored 12 points and 11 points, respectively, for the Mustangs at the Lincoln-Way tournament.
Lemont 52, Lincoln-Way Central 45: Juozas Balciunas led the Indians (2-0) with 22 points and Paulius Otruskevicius contributed 19 points.
