Chicago Richards 74, Lake View 35: The Angels (2-0) were powered to victory by Gregory Kent, who scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out four assists, and had seven steals. Joel Moore added 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Gordon Tech 55, Ida Crown 43: Jerry Davis led Gordon Tech with 20 points.

JOLIET WEST

Aurora Central 77, Plainfield North 65: Robert DeMyers scored 18 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and blocked eight shots in the victory for Aurora Central. Paul Kaminsky added 15 points and Joe McEachern chipped in 12 points.

Rich South 65, Joliet West 48: Ralph Abraham powered Rich South (2-0) to victory with 17 points and seven rebounds. Marquell Small added 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Evanston 63, Zion-Benton 58: Josh Irving led the Wildkits with 34 points.

Notre Dame 68, Payton 28: Jon Johnson led the Dons (2-0) with 11 points. Matt Mooney and Justin Halloran had nine points each.

New Trier 65, Lincoln Park 38: Connor Boehm turned in a 28-point performance for the No.17 Trevians (2-0).

Loyola 73, Rauner 30: The Ramblers (2-0) were sparked by Matt Bauer's 26 points. Chris Sullivan added 13 points.

Maine South 54, Antioch 30: Andrew Vay powered the Hawks (1-1) to victory with 16 points. Matt Lahey added 9 points and three assists.

Reavis 51, Kennedy 38: Nick Ball's 24 points helped lift Reavis (1-0) over Kennedy. Jake Stano chipped in with 11 points.

Yorkville 56, Streator 55: Stephen Jones's 28 points gave the Foxes (1-0) the edge over Yorkville.

St. Laurence 59, Lindblom 41: Mike Krutulis's 21 points lifted St. Laurence (2-0) past Lindblom. Eloy Aguilera added 17 points.

Schurz 42, Hubbard 32: The Bulldogs (1-1) were powered by Antonio Ayala's 15 points and eight rebounds. Anton Amison added 11 points and six steals.

Vocational 83, ACE Tech 30: The Cavaliers (2-0) benefited from Robert Hurd's 26 points. Dantrelle Freeman and Malcolm Martin each added 12 points. Michael Rollins chipped in with 11 points.

WESTMINSTER CHRISTIAN

Luther North 49, Westminster Christian 33: Jimmy Cunningham scored 15 points and Sean Chapman scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Luther North win. Chris Jenkins added 10 points and five assists.
