Tracy Abrams, Mount Carmel, G, sr. - Friday night against Seton, Abrams came off the bench after missing a practice earlier in the week because of sickness and finished with 12 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 74-57 victory for Mount Carmel (5-2).
Saturday at the Shootout at the Hall in Champaign, the guard scored 17 points to lead the Caravan to a 63-60 win over Bowman Academy (IN).
Mount Carmel will take on No. 16 Leo on Friday.

Orr, Caravan grab wins downstate
Nnanna Egwu, St. Ignatius, C, sr. - Friday night the senior finished with 16 points in a 69-35 win over Gordon Tech.
Saturday Egwu and the Huskies (5-2) fell short 48-46 against Peoria Notre Dame at the Shootout at the Hall in Champaign. The center recorded six points five boards, three blocks and two assists in a losing effort.
Egwu hopes to rebound in a Friday matchup with Loyola.
Mycheal Henry, Orr, F, sr. - Saturday at the Shootout at the Hall, the Illini-bound forward stole the show, throwing down multiple dunks during a 32-point performance to lead No. 19 Orr (3-1) to a 67-58 win over Alabama Lee.
Orr takes on No. 15 Crane Tuesday and Marshall on Thursday.
Orr, Caravan grab wins downstate
Mike Shaw, De La Salle, F, sr. - Shaw's efforts led the No. 4 Meteors (6-0) to a big 64-51 win over St. Joseph on Saturday. The De La Salle big man finished with 17 points including three three-pointers.
The Meteors match up with U-High on Tuesday, No. 6 Hales on Friday and Foreman on Saturday.

Macari Brooks, Rich South, G, sr. - The future Blue Demon saved his Rich South squad with a pair of threes as the Stars (5-2) edged Crete-Monee 56-55 in overtime Friday night.
Brooks (30 points) hit a three-pointer and converted a free throw to complete the four-point play at the end of regulation to force overtime. Then with .4 seconds left on the clock he hit a three from the sideline for the win.
The Stars tip off with Kankakee on Friday.

Jamee Crockett, Crete-Monee, F, sr. - Crete-Monee's key player finished with 22 points in an overtime loss to Rich South. Crockett was upstaged by future DePaul teammate Brooks, who finished with 30.
The Warriors fall to 5-1 and hope to get back on track Friday vs. Rich East.

David Sobolewski, Benet, G, sr. - The Benet point guard played facilitator in a 64-58 win over Notre Dame on Friday.
The future Wildcat scored 11 points and added five assists in the win. The No. 3 Redwings play Lockport Wednesday, Lincoln-Way North Thursday, Geneva Friday and Plainfield North Saturday.

Nick Zeisloft, Lyons, G, sr. - The Lyons' senior finished with 18 points in a 79-36 West Suburban Silver win over Glenbard West on Friday. On Saturday, Ziesloft led a balanced attack, scoring 13 in a win over Sandburg.
Lyons improves to 5-1 and plays York on Friday and Downers South on Saturday.

Jerome Brown, Morgan Park, G, sr. - Despite teammate and Louisville recruit Wayne Blackshear's huge night (56 points, 21 rebounds, eight blocks, seven steals) the future UIC guard managed to finish with 13 points in a 103-57 win over Ellison Saturday.
No. 2 Morgan Park is 3-0.
