Hales 89, South Shore 31: Aaron Armstead hit five three-pointers and finished with 37 points for No. 5 Hales. Dominique Walls (seven rebounds) and Eddie Alcantara each added 13 points in the first-round win.
Thornton 61, Joliet Central 50: No. 11 Thornton was led by Jeremy Parker, who scored 16 points and added five assists in the win.
Bloom 59, Richards 50: Donald Moore knocked down three three-pointers and tallied 17 points and six assists for Bloom. Edward Williams contributed 14 points and six rebounds in the win.
Crete-Monee 62, Lincoln Park 53: Jamee Crockett netted 23 points and Michael Orris scored 13 and added seven assists for Crete-Monee.
Leo 67, Rich East 40: Maurice Joiner recorded 18 points and 15 rebounds while Russell Woods added 16 points to lead Leo past Rich East.
Marian Catholic 52, Tinley Park 46: Brian Gates scored 17 points and added 10 rebounds in the Marian Catholic win. Tyler Ulis finished with 15 points and DiAndre Bellamy totaled 12 points and nine rebounds.
Rich Central 49, Bolingbrook 39: Adedeji Ibitayo led Rich Central with 13 points, nine rebounds and five assists in first-round action over Bolingbrook.
Seton 71, Rich South 68: Chris Coulter had 26 points and Jordan Foster netted 18 as Seton edged the hosts.
