Mount Carmel 63, Lake Zurich 42: Alex Austin finished with 18 points and two steals to lead Mount Carmel to a win. Illini recruit Tracy Abrams had 16 points and four rebounds the first-round win.

Pekin 51, Hersey 44: Hersey's Connor Miklasz had 16 points and grabbed four boards in a losing effort to the hosts in first-round action.
