Tuesday's boys basketball roundup

Farragut 88, Austin 53: DJ Tolliver came up big with 28 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals for No. 3 Farragut (16-2, 8-1 Red-West). Alphonso Matthews (20 points, 10 assists, three steals), Gabe Williams (17 points, five assists) and Sire Carroll (12 points, five rebounds, two blocks) also contributed.

Morgan Park 66, Urban Prep-Englewood 48: Billy Garrett (18 points) and Tory Johnson (16 points) led No. 4 Morgan Park (13-2, 6-1). Jerome Brown added eight points, seven rebounds and five steals while Matthew Porter compiled seven points and 11 boards in the victory.

Brooks 78, Julian 42: No. 12 Brooks (15-3, 6-3 Red-South) was led by Michael Powell (21 points, eight assists, five steals). Kevin Gray's 18 points and 10 rebounds, along with Keith Gray's 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists aided in the victory.

Bogan 75, Carver 63: Phillip Lee had 24 points,

seven assists and six rebounds for No. 21 Bogan (17-5, 7-0 Red-South).

Devaughn Johnson added 17 points and 12 rebounds while Kendall Wesley

chipped in with another 13 points in the win.

Mundelein 60, Lake Forest 43: Robert Knar compiled 29 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals for No. 24 Mundelein (21-3, 6-2 North Suburban Lake).

Bowen 64, Washington 35: Jaylan Walton had 18 points, 10 assists and Dwight Pirant added 14 points and seven rebounds for Bowen (11-7, 6-3 Blue-South).

Bremen 60, Illiana Christian 57: Sherman Carter recorded a double-double (24 points, 10 rebounds) for Bremen (5-14). Corey Rucker finished with 13 points and seven assists.

Fenger 61, ACE Tech 58: Jameise McClure scored 20 points including a game-winning three in the win for Fenger (7-13, 5-4 Blue-South). Javell Brown had 13 points in the win.

Gordon 53, Ida Crown 48: David Andrews compiled 21 points while Brandon Johnson added 13 for Gordon (6-9).

Juarez 72, Kelvyn Park 53: Tevohn Gibbs totaled 34 points and 11 assists for Juarez (6-15, 3-5 Blue-West). Carlos Huerta added 16 points.

Marist 56, St. Laurence 41: LJ McIntosh had 28 for Marist (14-9).

Naperville North 61, Rich Central 46: Matt LaCosse finished with 21 points for Naperville North.

North Chicago 91, Wauconda 56: Aaron Simpson finished with 24 points while Jayquan McCloud added 22 for North Chicago (9-9, 7-1 North Suburban Prairie).

Ogden 51, Hancock 40: Ogden (5-4, 5-4 Chicago Green) was led by Bakari Riverapenrice, who had 14 rebounds while Darius Smith added four steals on the defensive end.

Parker 77, North Shore 67: Judd Barron poured in 33 points to go along with his six boards and Graham Harboe had 16 for Parker (11-5, 5-3 Independent School League).

Raby 76, Clark 37: Montell Pressley totaled 28 points while Anthony Knowles added 10 for Raby (14-9, 2-7 Red-West).

South Shore 52, Hirsch 26: Michael Adams compiled 19 points and 13 rebounds while Michael Baker added 16 points and Pierre Carr had 11 for South Shore (4-14, 3-6).

Vocational 73, Gage Park 49: Robert Hurd finished with 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and six steals for Vocational (12-10, 4-5 Red-South). Rayshawn McGrew pitched in with 19 points and 11 boards in the win.

U-High 55, Latin 43: Matt Hennesian compiled 28 points, nine rebounds and Mike Turner added 16 points, 12 rebounds for U-High (11-7, 6-2 Independent School League).

Wheaton Academy 53, West Chicago 36: Wes Koral (14 points) and Luke Johnson (12 points) each came up big for Wheaton Academy (17-1).
