Wednesday’s summer baseball roundup

Oak Lawn 9, Reavis 2: The host Spartans scored all nine of their runs in the third inning. Steve Childers was 2-for-2 with an RBI for Oak Lawn, while Alec Barnhart (2-1) was the winner and Conor Niemac pitched one-hit ball over three innings.

Oak Lawn 8, Richards 4: Bob Kametas was 2-for-2 with a walk and three runs scored as the visiting Spartans (10-4) won their second game of the day. Nick Mozwecz (2-0) got the win, allowing two hits and striking out five over five innings.
