Addison Trail 15, Conant 7: Anthony Catanese was 2-for-4 with a RBI and three stolen bases for Addison Trail (16-17).

Brother Rice 11, Thornton 1: Garrett O’Neil (2-2) pitched the win and added a two-run homer at the plate. Ryan Kozial was 2-for-3, also hitting a two-run home run.

Burlington Central 17, Neuqua Valley 13: Joey Lange (7-1) was the winning pitcher. Sam Klein had two homers.

Curie 14, Vocational 4: Alex Oceguera was 3-for-3 with a home run, two tripples, three RBI and four runs scored. Enrique Borges went 2-for-3, driving in two runs and scoring two also.

Fremd 14, Round Lake 0: Sean Studzman earned the win for Fremd (19-14), striking out eight batters in three innings.

Glenbard West 9, West Aurora 8: Mitch Monocchio went 3-for-4 with a double for Glenbard West (16-18).

Guerin 10, Northtown 0: Winning pitcher Connor Hudson went five innings and fanned six for Guerin (7-20). Kevin Klein was 2-for-3 at the plate, cranking two homers and driving in five runs.

Kelly 8, Muchin 7: Juvi Albor (6-2) pitched the win for Kelly (14-7). Luis Marquez hit a homer and drove in two runs.

Lane 12, Prosser 0: Pitcher Tim Feely allowed only one hit in four innings and struck out six to earn the win. Richie Green was 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Maine East 2, Northside 0: Corey Evans threw a complete game for Maine East. George Zakharia was 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Marist 18, Thornridge 1: Marist (15-20) was led by Cody Bohanek (two hits, two RBI), Mike Hearne (two hits, two RBI) and Jim Carrol (two hits, RBI).

Nazareth 7, Libertyville 0: Patrick Kelly (5-2) pitched five innings and scattered two hits in the Nazareth (29-5) victory. AJ Ryan was 3-for-3 with a homer. Ryan Powers was 3-for-4 and also hit a homer.

Niles West 7, Vernon Hills 3: Niles West (22-12) was led by winning pitcher Nick Wheeler (two innings pitched, earned run, three hits, no walks), Kyle Colletta (2-for-3, tripple, two RBI) and Kenny Blanchard (3-for-4, double, two RBI).

Oswego East 7, Bolingbrook 1: Winning pitcher Matt Schultz gave up no earned runs in five innings while scattering two hits and striking out seven. Offensively, Eric Egan was 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBI in the Oswego East (10-19) win.

Plainfield Central 9, Lincoln-Way Central 4: Plainfield Central was powered by Mark DeYoung (2-for-4, two doubles) and Joe Spasacio (2-for-3, double, RBI,three runs).

Proviso East 28, Urban Prep-Englewood 5: Reuven Esquivel jacked a three-run homer in the victory.

Rich East 13, Rich South 3: Jason Douglas had 10 K’s in five innings for Rich East (13-9). Evan Martin was 3-for-3.

Shepard 7, Bloom 1: Kevin Siergiej struck out nine en route to a complete-game win for Shepard (12-20). David Flynn hit a two-run home run.

Stagg 14, Eisenhower 5: Brad Clark was 5-for-5 at the plate, hitting two home runs, knocking in three runs and scoring four himself. Scott Fewkes (4-1) earned the win.

T.F. North 13, Hillcrest 3: Travis Spencer showed up big for T.F. North (12-24). Spencer was 3-for-3 with two home runs and five RBI.

T.F. South 23, Kennedy 3: Alex Oberman hit a three-run homer in the win.

Willowbrook 6, East Aurora 0: Dan Johnson pitched a complete game in the Willowbrook (19-12) win. Johnson allowed only two hits and struck out 11.

Yorkville 1, St. Francis 0: Winning pitcher James Edwards didn’t give up a hit in the four innings he spent on the mound.
