Aurora Central 6, IMSA 3: Matt Miller led Aurora Central (12-13) with 10 strikeouts and was also 2-for-2 with a double. Matt Czerak had two RBI.

Buffalo Grove 8, Elk Grove 5: Kevin Dembinski (5-1) was the winning pitcher for Buffalo Grove (13-15, 8-6). Andrew VanWazer was 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Cary-Grove 20, Woodstock 3: Michael Vilardo was 3-for-3 with three RBI and Matt Panek was 4-for-4 with four RBI to lead Cary-Grove (21-8).

Crete-Monee 19, Rich South 2: John McLaughlin was 2-for-4 with three RBI and three runs. Jake Kadich was 2-for-4 and scored four runs for Crete-Monee (12-11).

Fenwick 10, Guerin 0: Aiden Verbek struck out six and gave up two hits to lead Fenwick (18-11). Ryan Fitzgerald was 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, and John Planek was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI.

Glenbard West 7, St Francis 6: Miles Purdom led Glenbard West (12-18) going 3-for-4 with an RBI.

Glenbrook South 6, Maine South 2: Sam Koloms pitched a complete game for Glenbrook South (23-6, 14-1).

Grayslake North 5, Johnsburg 3: Kyle Fosco (3-4) was the winning pitcher for Grayslake North (10-17).

Highland Park 1, Glenbrook North 0: Bret Schimanovsky had nine strikeouts and gave up one hit in a complete game for Highland Park (13-15).

Hinsdale Cent. 4, Oak Park-River Forest 2: Adam Dressler had nine strikeouts and gave up three hits in a complete game for Hinsdale Central (12-18). Matt Anderson had two homeruns and three RBI, and Phil Zarcone was 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Lake Forest 2, Libertyville 1: John Muscarello pitched six innings to pick up the win for Lake Forest (14-12, 4-7). Tyson Dethlefsen was 2-for-2.

Lake Park 4, Geneva 1: Kevin Steger had four strikeouts, and gave up five hits and zero earned runs in six innings pitched for Lake Park (19-11)

Lakes 6, Round Lake 0: Jake Wisniewski (3-0) had seven strikeouts and five walks, and gave up no hits for Lakes (16-12). Kyle Noon was 2-for-2 with two RBI, two runs and three stolen bases.

Lincoln-Way North 15, Thornton 0: Alex Lesiak had five strikeouts and gave up one hit for No. 10 Lincoln-Way North (23-3, 11-1).

Lisle 10, Montini 8: Kazim Khan was 3-for-3 with a walk and three RBI for Lisle (20-11).

Manteno 3, Reed-Custer 2: Paul DuFrain (6-1) had three strikeouts and gave up one earned run in five innings pitchd for Manteno (20-7). Mark Reardanz was 1-for-3 with one homerun and two RBI.

Marist 4, Nazareth 3: Zach Lewis had three strikeouts, giving up seven hits and an earned run in a complete game for Marist (13-17). Ryan Meyer was 1-for-3 with a two-run homer, and Mike Hearn was 2-for-3, scoring one run.

Mount Carmel 11, Illiana Christian 6: Chris Sujka led No. 5 Mount Carmel (25-5) going 2-for-4 with two triples and four RBI. Jeff Boehm was 2-for-3 with two RBI.

New Trier 9, Evanston 8: Josh Perlmutter was 4-for-5 with a three-run homer and four RBI to lead New Trier (20-9).

Notre Dame 9, Benet 6: Jake Wietlispach was 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead Notre Dame (16-13).

Oak Lawn 3, Argo 0: Nick Mozwecz (5-3) had 12 strikeouts in a complete game no-hitter for Oak Lawn (17-11, 12-5).

Providence 12, Joliet West 4: Zak Kutsulis was 3-for-3 with two runs, and Sam Travis was 2-for-3 with four RBI to lead No. 1 Providence (27-3).

Richards 5, Reavis 2: Richards (19-10, 13-5) was led by Dan Kenealy (2-for-4, two RBI) and Joe Lyons (3-for-4, one RBI).

St. Rita 6, Downers South 3: Scott Thomas (7-2) had four strikeouts and gave up eight hits and three runs in four innings pitched for No. 6 St. Rita (25-6). Connor McLain was 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Stevenson 10, Warren 8: Black Fieldman (4-0) picked up the win for No. 9 Stevenson (23-4). Mike Martin was 3-for-3 with three runs.

Wauconda 7, Grant 0: Tim Matesi pitched a complete game for Wauconda (15-9).

Plano 11, Seneca 1: Alex Ramirez (16-2) picked up the win for Plano (21-15-1) and also had a two-run homerun.

St. Francis de Sales 8, Seton 7: Heriberto Baeza was 2-for-5 and scored the game-winning run for St. Francis de Sales (14-12).

Timothy Christian 14, Luther North 1: Chris Ridolphi was the winning pitcher.

CLASS 1A REGIONALS

Illinois Lutheran 12, St. Anne 4: Paul Styx was 2-for-3 with three RBI, and Mac newson was 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI to lead Illinois Lutheran (14-6).

PUBLIC LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

Jones 10, Juarez 0: Matt Sax (4-3) had seven strikeouts in four innings to pick up the win for Jones (16-10). Danny Corral had a three-run homer.

Morgan Park 11, Kennedy 1: DeJohn Suber had 10 strikeouts in five innings pitched, and was also 2-for-2 with one RBI to lead Morgan Park (16-8).

Lake View 10, Bogan 3: Josh Henry had 12 strikeouts in a complete game for Lake View (14-15). Contributions also came from Robert Pagan (2-for-3, one double, two RBI), Justin Montalvo (2-for-4, two homeruns, one doube, two RBI) and Adam Botello (2-for-4, two RBI).

Simeon 10, Little Village 0: Quincy Collins (5-1) had six strike outs and two walks, and gave up two hits for Simeon (22-3). Blake Hickman was 3-for-3 with two RBI, and Darius Day was 1-for-1 with four RBI.

Taft 8, Hancock 2: Matt Griffith was the winning pitcher for Taft (14-7).

Von Steuben 12, Gage Park 0: Justin Steinbrunner was the winning pitcher for Von Steuben (20-8).
