Mount Carmel 18, St. Rita 1: No. 4 Mount Carmel (23-5, 11-4 Catholic Blue) was led by Beau Filkins (3-for-4, four RBI), Chris Sujka (2-for-3, two homers, four RBI) and Stan Kint (1-for-4, grand slam). Tyler Laurisch fanned six in the complete-game win.

Plainfield North 8, Minooka 5: Sean Renzi went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Brian Evak went 1-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in the win for No. 2 Plainfield North (24-1, 17-0 SouthWest Prairie). Kurt Palandech and Kyle Palandech each went 2-for-2.

Ag. Science 18, Vocational 0: Charles Ward went 5-for-5 with three runs and winning pitcher Josh Serna (6-3) fanned nine for Ag. Science (15-7, 13-2 Minnie Minoso).

Andrew 8, Thornridge 2: Pat McKeown (3-1) fanned eight in the win for Andrew (19-8, 8-3 SouthWest Suburban Red). Greg Bothwell went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Dan Durkin drove in two runs.

Aurora Central 6, Montini 2: Ryan Harreld went 2-for-4 with a homer and RBI in the win for Aurora Central (11-13, 6-10 Suburban Christian Gold). Zack Tobin went 2-for-4 and winning pitcher Matt Miller fanned nine in a complete-game outing.

Aurora Christian 7, Immaculate Conception 4: Kenny McCracken (3-for-3, two-run homer, three RBI), Jake Hanson (2-for-4, double, RBI and run) led Aurora Christian (23-6, 12-4). Winning pitcher Mitch Holtz (5-4) struck out eight.

Clemente 17, Lake View 4: Winning pitcher Jeremiah Figueroa (4-0) allowed just one hit, fanned six and went 3-for-4 from the plate with a homer and four RBI to power Clemente (16-5, 12-0 Jackie Robinson North). Yerbis Arial went 1-for-2 with a homer and Michael Mercado went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Coal City 14, Westmont 8: Cody Onsen drove in three runs and scored four times in the win for Coal City (19-10).

Corliss 10, Julian 3: Deonte Branch went 2-for-3 with three RBI in the win for Corliss (17-9, 10-3 Minnie Minoso South). Cyntrell Dyson went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.

Glenbard South 10, Elmwood Park 6: Justin Joseph belted a three-run homer in the win for Glenbard South (15-9, 12-2 Metro Suburban).

Illinois Lutheran 8, Donovan 4: Evan Teske went 3-for-4 with two RBI to lead Illinois Lutheran (12-6).

Jones 11, Curie 6: Jon Chico went 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI for Jones (14-10, 8-6 Jackie Robinson South).

Lincoln-Way East 7, Lincoln-Way Central 2: Jake Busch went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Bobby Kosola went 1-for-3 with two RBI to lead Lincoln-Way East (18-7, 7-4 SouthWest Suburban Blue). Kyle Henderson (4-1) was the winning pitcher.

Lincoln-Way North 14, Lincoln-Way West 6: Alex Eaton went 4-for-4 and Sam Cook was the winning pitcher.

Nazareth 7, Marian Catholic 3: Justin Gonzalez went 2-for-2 with two doubles and three RBI in the win for Nazareth (23-4, 9-3 East Suburban Catholic). Eddie Gengo was the winning pitcher.

North Lawndale 11, Wells 8: Winning pitcher Quartell West went 3-for-3 from the plate for North Lawndale (17-3, 10-3 Ozzie Guillen). Jalen Smith Kenneth High both went 4-for-4 with a homer.

St. Francis de Sales 11, Hales 1: Winning pitcher Wesley Jones allowed no hits and struck out four in the win for St. Francis de Sales (11-11, 8-5 Catholic White).

St. Joseph 7, Bishop McNamara 0: Stephen Scatassa allowed just one hit and fanned 13 in the win for St. Joseph (16-13, 11-8 Catholic White).

Simeon 5, Morgan Park 3: Shane Brown (7-1) fanned 15 in the complete-game win for Simeon (21-2, 12-1 Jackie Robinson South). Corey Ray went 2-for-4 with an RBI. Elbert Dunnigan and Shane Brown had one RBI each.

Taft 13, Mather 3: Ray Cekus went 3-for-3, scoring three runs for Taft (12-5, 8-4 Jackie Robinson North). John Guidone went 2-for-3 with a homer and three runs. Mike Shewchuk went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. Matt Griffith was the winning pitcher.

Von Steuben 9, Schurz 1: Joe Plaud was the winning pitcher for Von Steuben (19-7, 10-4 Jackie Robinson South).

West Aurora 1, Glenbard East 0: Chris Lewis doubled and drove in one run for West Aurora (9-15, 6-12 DuPage Valley).
