Providence 11, Fenwick 2: No. 1 Providence was led by Collin McEnery (2-for-3, two runs), Sam Travis (1-for-4, homer, three RBI) and Joe Houlihan (1-for-3, two RBI).

Leyden 5, Hinsdale South 4, 9 inn.: Justin Stawychny went 4-for-5 with an RBI and two stolen bases to lead No. 8 Leyden (23-2). Nick DiMaso went 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBI. Angel Sanchez was the winning pitcher.

Mundelein 10, Zion-Benton 0: Torr Randau went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the win for No. 10 Mundelein (21-4). Luis Carrasco went 2-for-3 with a double and Charlie Gandolfi hit a triple.

Argo 11, Bremen 1: Jordan Ashley went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and Tony Noto went 2-for-2 with two runs. Emmet McGovern (3-2) was the winning pitcher.

Aurora Central 17, Northridge 0: Aurora Central (10-13) was led by TJ Ali (two doubles, three RBI), Matt Miller (double, two RBI) and Ryan Harreld (two RBI).

Barrington 11, Elk Grove 3: Greg Gerrard was the winning pitcher, Max Redpath notched the save and Aaron Foley went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Brother Rice 10, Gordon 6: Conor Sullivan went 2-for-3 with four RBI and Brendon Shine went 1-for-2 with two RBI in the win for Brother Rice (10-12, 7-7 Catholic Blue).

Buffalo Grove 13, Hersey 7: Andrew Van Wazer tossed a complete-game win and went 2-for-4 from the plate with two doubles. Jimmy Pinakidas went 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI.

Clemente 14, Schurz 1: Marcelino Rodriguez (1-1) allowed just two hits in a complete-game win for Clemente (15-5, 11-0 Jackie Robinson North).

Coal City 4, Seneca 3: Evan Frantini went 2-for-3 with two runs and Cody Onsen hit a two-run homer.

Glenbrook North 10, Maine West 6: Glenbrook North (22-2) was powered by Brad Ruchman (1-for-3, three-run homer, four RBI), Jason Scholl (2-for-2, two-run homer, double, two RBI, three runs) and Ryan Slawin (2-for-4, two RBI). Peter Resnick picked up the save.

Glenbrook South 9, Niles West 1: Mike Reinisch went 2-for-2 with two runs and winning pitcher Sully Stadler allowed three hits and fanned five in a complete-game effort.

Grant 10, Lakes 9, 8 inn.: Jake Brown went 4-for-5 with a triple, RBI and three runs. Paul Kukulka went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI.

Herscher 13, Manteno 6: Jeff Brewer went 4-for-5 for Herscher (26-2).

Hinsdale Central 11, Proviso West 1: Sam Burnett was the winning pitcher for Hinsdale Central (11-17, 7-8 West suburban Silver).

Homewood-Flossmoor 12, Marian Catholic 2: Ben Kirchler went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Sean Dwyer went 2-for-3 with two homers and three RBI.

Jacobs 2, Woodstock 1: Winning pitcher Brett Kale (4-2) fanned nine in the win for Jacobs (10-13). Nate Andersen went 2-for-4 with an RBI, run and stolen base.

Kelly 17, Sullivan 8: Fabian Morales went 2-for-3 with three RBI and Juve Rodriguez was the winning pitcher for Kelly (10-7).

King 7, Phillips 3: Jordan Tate went 3-for-3 in the win for King. Winning pitcher Brandon Halbert tossed a complete-game.

Lake Forest 8, Warren 7, 8 inn.: Jack Wold drove in the game-winning run for Lake Forest (11-11, 3-6 North Suburban Lake). Chris Godinez went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI.

Maine South 5, New Trier 3: Patrick Aloisio (3-1) picked up the complete-game win for Maine South (13-7, 9-3). Nick Calabrese went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs. John Fabiano went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Niles North 7, Highland Park 2: Adam Warda went 2-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Clark Fox went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI.

Oak Lawn 14, Eisenhower 3: Alex Krupa powered Oak Lawn (15-10, 10-5 South Suburban Red) with a grand slam and winning pitcher Bob Kametas struck out six.

Oak Park-River Forest 14, Proviso East 4: Alec Jeffries went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer for Oak Park-River Forest (20-8).

Peotone 8, Wilmington 2: Matt Borens (1-1) fanned six and allowed just two hits in the win for Peotone.

Perspectives-Calumet 12, Urban Prep-Englewood 1: Robert Robinson went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBI in the win for Perspectives-Calumet (13-4, 12-0 Carlton Fisk).

Waubonsie Valley 3, Metea Valley 2: Winning pitcher Mitch Stefani (4-1) struck out four and went 3-for-3 in the win for Waubonsie Valley (13-11). Eric Josupat went 2-for-4 and Harry Vickers went 2-for-3.
